After Lily Turner found out that her guess was correct, she asked the driver to pull over. She turned her head to look toward the entrance of the community, but the car she had just seen was gone. She thought that car must have already entered the community.
"Can we meet somewhere else?" She didn't have time to beat around the bush or feel awkward. She straightforwardly stated her thoughts.
After seeing the taxi Lily was in, Luke Crowe had already slowed down the car, but without Easton Holmes' orders, he didn't dare to stop the car on his own.
"Hold on a second, let me ask our boss." Luke slowed the car to a snail's pace and turned his head to look at Easton Holmes sitting in the back, "Boss! Miss Lily wants to meet you somewhere else."
"No!"
Easton refused Lily Turner's request without even considering it.
Luke immediately turned back, picked up the phone, and said to the person on the other end, "Our boss said no!"
He told the truth without any deception.
