"Stats time, huhuu!"
The young guy with the giant chain around his neck shouted in excitement after the notification from the unknown voice.
Alexa turned to Callum. "You can simply check your stats by flicking your fingers."
Callum nodded. This was actually what he was told when he obtained the Three SSS Ranked Talents upon arriving at Glory Expanse.
Without wasting much time, he flicked his fingers, and a series of floating messages popped up in mid-air, revealing his stats.

Callum gave the interface a blank stare for a moment. First of all, he hadn't been properly lectured about many things here. Even though he could use common sense to understand some of it, he still wasn't getting it right.
"You don't understand everything? Demand a description by simply saying 'Stats description'," Alexa came to his aid again, and Callum did so immediately.
"Stats description, please," Callum muttered.
Of course, he already knew what things like Rank, Class, and Age were, so he didn't bother with those.
-------------
[Vitality]: This is the recording and percentage of the Lister's life. Every damage or illness affects the Lister's vitality and reduces it. Once it reaches 0%, the Lister dies.
[Level]: This tracks advancement in EXP, which leads to a Lister progressing from an Apprentice to a Survivor. Once the required EXP is completed, the Lister moves from Level 0 to Level 1, and so on.
[Mana]: This is the fuel for the Lister's magical attacks or any magical activities. Without an abundance of Mana, the Lister cannot use a Skill.
[Attributes]:
-Strength (STR): Measures physical power. Affects melee damage, carrying capacity, and the ability to break or lift heavy objects.
-Agility (AGI): Measures speed, reflexes, and coordination. Influences movement speed, dodge rate, stealth, and attack speed.
-Endurance (END): Measures stamina and durability. Affects health, resistance to physical damage, long-activity sustainability, and fatigue rate.
-Perception (PER): Measures awareness and observation skills. Influences accuracy, trap detection, hidden enemies, and ranged attack efficiency.
-Focus (FOC): Measures concentration and precision. Affects casting time, ability accuracy, and the success rate of skill-based tasks.
-Intelligence (INT): Measures mental acuity and knowledge. Determines magic power, skill efficiency, and learning-based experience gain.
-Willpower (WIL): Measures mental toughness and resolve. Affects resistance to fear, control over powerful abilities, and defense against mental or magical attacks.
-Luck (LCK): Measures fortune and unpredictability. Influences critical hit chance, rare loot drops, dodge chance, and random event outcomes.
[Stat Points]: Earned after slaying monsters. They can be added to any attribute to increase its value. For instance, adding 1 Stat Point to Strength would increase it to 5.5.
[Talents]:
-Gacha System: A rare SSS Ranked Talent that grants the privilege to randomly pull any SSS Ranked Item, Resource, or Character in the universe. (Enter Talent Interface for more info).
-Soulmancy: A soul-specialist ability that allows you to collect the souls of any creature you kill—be it monster or human—and use them for any beneficial purpose.
-Blood of the Flamborne: ?????

Callum finally finished reading his stats and heaved a sigh, but he still didn't feel at ease.
"Why is my Luck attribute not showing?" he questioned aloud to himself, but Alexa happened to hear him.
His third Talent wasn't showing a description as well, but he wasn't letting this out.
"What? How?" Alexa furrowed her brows.
"See." Callum stepped a bit closer to show her his interface, and she was stunned to see it was actually true.
What Callum didn't realize was that she had also noticed the Talent section—her eyes widened in shock, and her mouth dropped open.
"Hey! You have three talents?! And they are all SSS Ranked???!!!" Alexa shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Is that a crime or what?" Callum asked, tensing slightly.
The two other youngsters actually knew little to nothing about how rare it was to have three talents and were more focused on checking their own stats, though the chain guy seemed to show interest at a point—he just didn't approach.
"No, it's not a crime. It's a crazy thing. It's... It's..." Alexa ran out of words for a moment.
"It's insane," she finally found the right expression.
"Well... guess I won a jackpot then. I really don't even know how to use my talents, but I'm sure I'll learn more about them soon enough," Callum said.
Alexa couldn't help but keep staring at him in amazement after the discovery, which made Callum a bit uncomfortable—but also happy.
He never thought anyone could be amazed by his qualities, not even once in his entire life. But here he was, experiencing it.
"I guess it's just luck," he muttered.
"So, how about yours?"
Callum asked Alexa to show him her stats, and he quickly observed them before they prepared to move on.

One major thing to envy was the Vice Captain's daughter's attributes. Due to training and combat practice from childhood, she had advanced quite far, and her Class was not something to joke about.
"It must have been sad when you discovered you blindly chose to be an Assassin, right?" Callum asked.
"It was my choice. I chose it myself," Alexa replied, squinting slightly.
"You mean you understood all the symbols in the Curtain Call?" Callum's eyes widened.
"No, not that. I was never in the Curtain Call. I was born here in Glory Expanse, just like my parents. A large number of people here were actually born in this world since reproduction wasn't restricted. That's it," Alexa explained.
"So how come you got a Class and a Talent?" Callum asked, suddenly confused.
"Glory Expanse is now advanced enough that we can gain our Talent and Class through a ritual. It happens in only one place in the world—Golden Storm Refuge," Alexa replied.
"Hmm..." Callum nodded in amazement.
After wrapping up, they approached their new partners, who were actually done and had been waiting for them.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, guys. We can now head forward," Callum apologized politely.
"No problem, man. So, which direction do we take?" the chain guy asked with a funny smirk.
"West. Let's head west and see what challenges await us there. Hopefully, we'll run into just a few monsters at first to warm up… Let's hope we don't stumble across a whole troublesome Goblin Tribe, or it might be a bad start," Alexa said.
They all agreed to head west in the end and began their adventure.
The adventure of Callum, Alexa, a funny-looking chain fighter, and a lonesome little lady who was likely not saying a word until nightfall.
