The grand hall falls silent as the Headmaster steps onto the podium, his golden starred robe shimmering under the light of the academy's towering chandeliers.
The intricate patterns of stars woven into the fabric seem to glow faintly, as if echoing the power and legacy of the academy itself.
He pauses, his piercing gaze sweeping across the room, before he begins to speak, his voice resonating with authority and gravitas.
"Welcome, students," he begins, his hands clasped.
"to Lumina Academy of Hero Arts the crucible where heroes are forged, where legends are carved into the annals of history, and where the ordinary are transformed into the extraordinary."
He takes a slow step forward, the hem of his robe brushing the floor with a soft rustle.
"This is not a place for pretense, for idle dreams, or for half-hearted efforts."
He raises a hand, gesturing to the students before him, his voice growing sharper.
"You did not come here to play at being warriors, to bask in the illusion of privilege, or to hide behind excuses. You came here to fight, to bleed, and to rise above every limit that dares to bind you."
His eyes narrow, and his voice drops to a low, almost dangerous tone.
"And I promise you, those limits will be many."
The Headmaster turns slightly, the golden stars on his robe catching the light as he moves.
He paces slowly along the edge of the podium, his presence commanding the attention of every soul in the room.
"Within these walls," he continues, "your lineage means nothing. Whether you are noble born or a child of the streets, the battlefield will not ask for your name."
He stops abruptly, facing the students again, his voice rising.
"Fate does not wait for the hesitant, and destiny does not bow to the timid. Strength is not a gift it is a prize, wrested from the jaws of adversity."
He steps closer to the edge of the podium, his robe swaying with the movement, the golden stars glinting like tiny beacons.
"And here, in this academy," he declares, his voice thunderous, "weakness is not tolerated. It is eradicated."
The Headmaster's gaze hardens as he scans the room, his words cutting through the air like a blade.
"To the elite among you those who believe your bloodline guarantees victory, be warned: arrogance will be your downfall. You will be humbled."
He pauses, letting the weight of his words sink in.
"To the lowest among you those who think suffering alone makes you special, know this: pain is not a badge of honor. You will be broken."
He takes a deep breath, his chest rising and falling beneath the ornate fabric of his robe.
His voice softens slightly, but the intensity in his eyes remains.
"This academy does not care for your past. It does not care for your excuses. It demands your absolute best. And it will accept nothing less."
The Headmaster steps back, his robe swirling around him as he turns to face the entire hall. His voice booms, filling the space with undeniable authority.
"Here, we do not coddle the weak. We do not carry the unworthy. If you cannot endure the trials that await you, if you cannot face the fire that will test your very soul, then leave now." He extends an arm, pointing toward the grand doors at the back of the hall.
"But if you are willing to crawl through the flames, to sharpen your will against the whetstone of suffering, and to give everything your blood, your sweat, your very essence then you may yet earn the right to stand among the heroes of Lumina."
He lowers his arm and steps forward once more, the golden stars on his robe gleaming as if alive with power.
His voice drops to a near whisper, yet it carries to every corner of the room.
"Now, step forward. Show me the fire in your eyes. Show me the resolve in your hearts."
He spreads his arms wide, the sleeves of his robe flowing like the wings of a great eagle.
"Prove to me that you are worthy of Lumina's light or be prepared to be swallowed by its shadows."
The Headmaster stands tall, his robe shimmering with the light of a thousand stars.

'HAHAHAHA!! Your 'Status' means nothing??'
He could barely contain his laughter at that ridiculous statement.
'Who in their right mind would believe such nonsense? Easy—nobody. This entire speech is nothing but a public stunt.'
I scoffed internally, watching as the headmaster stood there, unwavering, his presence alone capable of crushing weaker souls.
He was exactly as I remembered from the game an archmage who single handedly crushed an entire Chaos Army.
A war hero, a legend, a man who valued strength above all else.
And honestly? I despised that kind of thinking.
If power alone dictated who ruled, then why were the ones truly at the top always businessmen?
Kings and emperors did not sit on their thrones because they were the strongest warriors.
No, they ruled because they were cunning, because they understood how to manipulate power not just wield it.
Strength alone could only take you so far.
True dominance came from knowing how to use it.
Clap! Clap!
The sound of applause broke through my thoughts as the headmaster concluded his speech.
One by one, students dispersed, some looking inspired, others intimidated. I simply turned away, indifferent.
It had been three days since I last saw Celestia.
That, in itself, was a relief.
She was strong strong enough to be placed in Class A, either A1 or A2. I wasn't entirely sure, but given her stats, there was no doubt she belonged with the elites.
Me, on the other hand?
I exhaled deeply as I walked down the long corridors of the D-Building, the section reserved for the lowest-ranked students.
It didn't matter.
Whether I was in Class D or Class A, my goal remained the same.
After a few minutes of walking, I arrived in front of my classroom D2, the lowest of the low among The first Year.
Even so, the academy spared no expense in its design.
The exterior of the building was just as breathtaking as the rest of the campus, with intricate carvings and stained glass windows that made it look more like a royal estate than a mere classroom.
I placed my hand on the door handle, pausing for a moment.
Taking a deep breath, I steadied myself.
No matter where they placed me, no matter what class I was in I would rise.
With that final thought, I turned the handle and stepped inside.
