"Ah, help! Don't come over! Don't come over!!"
"Attack! Attack!! Don't retreat!"
"It's no use, run away quickly!"
"We can't hold on, the monsters are breaking in!"
"Ah…"
…
Screams of humans and roars of monsters came from the direction of the Takagi household. Just a week into the apocalypse, this once top family in the city, even with its private armed forces, couldn't hold out. Under the onslaught of thousands of dead bodies, the tall iron gates collapsed, signaling the fall of the castle.
"Hey? Looks like we came at a good time!"
Waving his hand to signal Minami Rika and Marikawa to stop the vehicles, Sora, under the setting sun, looked at the Takagi household being attacked by dead bodies, a mysterious smile playing on his lips.
Though faint human cries for help could still be heard, the girls on the Humvee armored vehicles paid no heed, engrossed in their own conversations and tasks.
These days, they had long grown numb to such voices. Without their master's orders, they couldn't be bothered to do those exhausting tasks that only brought back a heap of troubles.
"Saya, are you awake? How about it? If you beg me, I might consider saving your Takagi family!"
Seeing Takagi Saya climb out of the top window, Sora smirked mischievously.
His purpose was to pick up Takagi Yuriko, and he genuinely didn't care about the lives of others. However, the proud and tsundere Saya was, after all, his woman. If she wished for it, he wouldn't refuse.
"Hmph, let such a family be destroyed!"
A deep sense of desolation flashed in her eyes, but Takagi Saya replied in a low voice.
As the young lady of the Takagi family, she appeared happy and glorious on the surface, but only she knew the bitterness within. Not just her, but any woman from a prominent family was merely a high-end commodity. For the so-called family interests, they could be sold off to anyone at any time!
Take, for example, the former Saeko. If it weren't for her exceptional swordsmanship talent, would the Busujima family have made her the heir?
Absolutely not!
Her fate would likely have been the same as the other women in the family, becoming a sacrificial lamb for alliances with other forces.
Thus, Takagi Saya harbored deep resentment towards the Takagi family, not just for herself, but also for her mother, Takagi Yuriko!
One could say that it was already good that Saya didn't add fuel to the fire. Expecting her to help those people? Don't even think about it!
"If you don't want to save them, then don't. From now on, you belong entirely to me, with no ties to that so-called family."
Pulling the somewhat dazed Takagi Saya into his arms, Sora gently comforted her while stroking her pink hair.
Although she was usually a bit tsundere, Saya was the kind of straightforward girl. Even though the downfall of the Takagi family had nothing to do with her, Sora knew that making such a decision still weighed heavily on her heart.
"Thank you, you big jerk."
Leaning gently in Sora's arms, tears glistening in her pink eyes, the girl was deeply moved. Although he was usually a bit naughty, this big jerk always seemed to offer his embrace when she was at her most vulnerable.
It was precisely for this reason that, despite their constant bickering, she remained utterly devoted to him.
"By the way, big jerk, Mom! Mom is still inside!"
Suddenly remembering something, Takagi Saya straightened up, her expression unusually agitated. She could disregard anyone in the Takagi family, but she couldn't ignore Takagi Yuriko!
Over the years, apart from Sora, it had almost been just the two of them, mother and daughter, relying on each other. Otherwise, she really doubted she could have endured so many years in that cold, prominent family!
"Don't worry, I've already made arrangements. You'll see her soon."
Pressing Saya back down, Sora smiled and said.
After all, Takagi Yuriko had been secretly trained by him for three years. While it might be a bit difficult for her to single-handedly take on thousands of zombies, keeping herself safe was not a problem at all.
Moreover, like Saya, apart from her daughter, there was almost no one left in the Takagi family that she needed to care about, and there would be no burdens. So, Sora wasn't worried at all.
Of course, Sora wasn't ready to explain all this to Saya just yet, as he was waiting to give her a big "surprise"!
"Hmph! If Mom loses even a single hair, I'll bite you to death!"
Baring her little fangs, Saya threatened fiercely, but the tension from earlier was gone.
Like Miyamoto Rei, Shizuka, and Sora's other women, Takagi Saya had an almost blind trust in Sora. Although this big jerk always liked to tease her and do naughty things, she would unconditionally believe anything he said.
"Hehe…"
With a light laugh, Sora knew that the girl's habit of being sharp-tongued had surfaced again. Smelling the faint, pleasant fragrance of the girl, he couldn't help but tighten his embrace.
Her face tinged with a faint blush, every time Sora indulged her in acting spoiled, the girl felt an extraordinary sense of happiness. She stopped fidgeting and quietly leaned in Sora's arms, enjoying this moment of peace.
The battle inside the castle continued, the roars of the zombie monsters still echoing, but the screams and cries of humans had weakened considerably. It seemed that before nightfall, this hunt of monsters against humans would come to an end!
After a day of various bloody and terrifying stimuli, Andrea had almost adapted to these apocalyptic scenes. Her complexion had returned to normal, and it had to be said that she was a woman with a strong heart.
Gently and attentively massaging Sora's shoulders, having witnessed the struggles of people in the apocalypse and seen the joyful and happy smiles of Takagi Saya and the swordswomen, she suddenly felt incredibly lucky to have met this man before her!
He had given them strength, given them love, and provided everything they truly needed. Following such a man, what more could she possibly ask for?
It was from this moment that the woman truly accepted Sora from the bottom of her heart, acknowledging him as the master she would serve for the rest of her life…
"Hey… is it finally over?"
"Girls, let's get to work. Wipe out all these monsters!"
Finally, as the sky was about to completely darken, no more human voices could be heard. Standing up with Takagi Saya in his arms, Sora shouted to the girls.
"Yes, Master!"
The girls replied in sweet voices, each one excited, drawing their swords and leaping into the Takagi estate to begin a new round of sweeping.
Needless to say, although the number of zombies was vast, they couldn't withstand the slaughter of these fierce and frenzied girls.
Moreover, this time, Minami Rika had joined in. This wild woman had been holding back a bellyful of anger, directly unleashing her ice powers to form a submachine gun and firing a barrage of ice bullets at the zombie horde. Every zombie hit by her ice bullets turned into an ice sculpture.
In less than half an hour, all the zombies inside the castle had been cleared out!
"Mom!"
Seeing the fiery figure appearing at the entrance not far away, Takagi Saya jumped down from Sora and leaped over in one bound.
With a smile tugging at his lips, looking at this mature, charming, and alluring woman he hadn't tasted in a while, Sora also spoke:
"Yo, little Yuriko!"
