Chapter 61 - Episode 61

Chapter 61: The Descent of Jushin and the Reign of Asmodra

A KA-BOOOOOM echoed through the battlefield as dust and debris erupted from the impact, thick plumes of smoke rising into the open sky. The last remnants of Madagascar's ice prison began to melt from the sheer heat signature of the explosion. Tito and Madagascar, still shielding their eyes, struggled to see through the dense smoke, their gazes locked onto the epicenter of the detonation.

Then—a silhouette emerged.

A figure stood amidst the devastation, unmoving, unfazed. The wind shifted, obeying his presence, swirling around him as if acknowledging his dominion. A silent force pulsed outward, and in an instant, the smoke and debris scattered—expanding and clearing the battlefield completely.

Standing in the center was Sakamoto.

His form had changed. His body seemed heavier, his movements unnatural—his very presence felt alien. His eyes, now fully transformed, gleamed with an eerie, otherworldly glow, the gravitational pull distorting the air around him. A god of war had awakened.

Madagascar inhaled sharply. "This… this, he stammered and continued "isn't Sakamoto anymore."

Tito's face hardened. "Mujin mentioned this form before… Jushin Phase 1, and when it first manifested he had to fight it to

Contain Sakamoto"

Madagascar nodded. "Yeah… and in this state, he's barely himself. We need to be careful."

A few meters away, Roshi tilted his head, amused by the transformation before him. His voice was calm, condescending.

"What is this little game you're playing, Sakamoto?"

No response.

Roshi clicked his tongue. From his sleeves, bat-like dolls began to flutter out, their tiny wings humming ominously as they hovered in front of him.

"Fine, be silent. I will simply end this charade myself."

With a flick of his wrist, the dolls shot forward—each one infused with deadly Shen energy, aimed to detonate on impact.

But before they could reach their target,Sakamoto's body vanished,In the span of a heartbeat, he reappeared mid-air, inches from Roshi's face.

BOOOOOOM!

A single devastating punch—the shockwave alone shattered windows within a five-block radius. The air cracked apart, and Roshi's ribs broke instantly, his body launched skyward like a ragdoll.

Blood spewed from Roshi's mouth, his mind struggling to process what had just happened.

And then, Sakamoto raised his hand.

"Heavenly Attraction: Pull."

The air twisted.

Reality itself warped as an invisible gravitational force seized Roshi mid-air. The pressure tightened, dragging him downward with catastrophic force. He struggled, but it was useless—his body plummeted like a meteor, smashing into the ground.

The impact created a massive crater.

But it wasn't over.

Sakamoto was already there.

Before Roshi could even gasp for air, Sakamoto bent down—his demonic Jushin gaze piercing into his very soul. The very space around them seemed to ripple.

Then, **from Sakamoto's eyes—**a focused gravitational shockwave burst forth, striking Roshi point-blank.

BAAAAAANG!

His body was launched across the battlefield, tearing through buildings, walls, glass—his flesh scraping against concrete as he crashed through structure after structure.

And when he finally came to a halt—his head was gone.

Blood poured from the shredded remains of his body, painting the ruins of Seoul in a gruesome display of annihilation.

Sakamoto slowly rose to his full height, staring at his hands, exhaling deeply. Then, his lips curled upward.

"Asmodra…?"

He looked to the distance, eyes gleaming.

"Who would dare summon such a monster?"

He bent his knees, his legs shifting like coiled springs. Then—

BAAAAAAAANG!

He blasted into the sky like a living rocket, propelling himself toward the source of the chaos.

Madagascar and Tito stood frozen, staring in horror at the aftermath.

"…That wasn't Sakamoto," Tito murmured.

Madagascar's voice was grim. "No. That was Jushin."

SECTOR ZERO: THE ASCENT OF ASMODRA

ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRR!

Asmodra, the Thousand-Limbed Harbinger, bellowed—a single roar sending a shockwave so immense it shattered the very foundation of Seoul.

The city crumbled.

Buildings collapsed like fragile sandcastles. The earthquake that followed caused entire streets to split apart, consuming everything in its wake.

Thunder roared.

Darkness engulfed the sky, the clouds churning violently as lightning streaked through the heavens.

A child screamed—his tiny hands clutching his sister as their home caved in, the floors beneath them crumbling into the abyss below.

An elderly man clawed at the ground, his voice hoarse from screaming, his legs trapped in the wreckage of a collapsing building.

Thousands of civilians lay dead. Others watched in terror as the earth itself devoured them.

Seoul had become Hell on Earth.

Mujin arrived just in time. Standing atop a destroyed building, his coat billowed in the violent wind. His eyes narrowed.

"What the hell… is this?"

Then, his gaze locked onto the monster towering over the city.

And on its head… sat Huey.

Huey smirked, running his fingers through the grotesque skin of the beast like he was petting a newborn child.

Mujin clenched his fists. "That bastard—he's the one controlling it."

Asmodra roared again, sending another destructive pulse across the battlefield.

Mujin immediately teleported to safety, appearing atop another structure. He took a deep breath, then exhaled.

"I need backup."

He raised his fingers into a sacred seal.

"Tobu."

FLASH!

In an instant, all the remaining Ss-rank hunters appeared beside him.

Frozen. Daisuke, Thomas,They all landed in battle stance, scanning the chaos unfolding before them.

Frozen scowled. "Always pulling me because I have your seal huh" and his eyes widened and he spoke

"What the hell is that thing?!"

Mujin's tone was grim. "I'm sorry I had to pull yall back from the mission but the city needs us , That's Huey's pet. And we're the exterminators."

Thomas cracked his neck. "Tch. We need to stop this before it gets worse and good thing I was able to finish That Guy before you pulled me here." ( Off screen battle Thomas defeated Castle)

Mujin's gaze turned skyward. "We'll have to go through Huey first."

Then—**above them—**Huey laughed.

"Three Ss-rank hunters? Against my masterpiece?" His voice dripped with amusement.

"Well, that's just unfair."

Huey raised a single hand.

"Let's fix that."

BOOM.

The earth shook violently,Suddenly—**from the beast's massive spine—**thick wooden roots erupted,And atop those roots, four figures materialized.

Mujin's breath caught in his throat.

"…Dammit."

Numbers 3, 6, 7, and 8 of The Ten had arrived.

Huey grinned. "Now then…"

"Shall we begin?"
