Chapter 253 - Chapter 254: Truly a Fantasy World

Chapter 254: Truly a Fantasy World

The King of the Noldor Elves had an exceptionally gifted but extremely stubborn eldest son named Fëanor. With his superior skills, he forged the Silmarils, which could store the light of the Two Trees.

The beauty and power of the Silmarils astonished even the gods and made Fëanor increasingly arrogant and conceited.

Later, incited by Melkor, he led a group of Elves to defy the gods and was eventually exiled to a castle far from the main city, harboring even greater hatred for the gods.

With his plan complete, Melkor, fearing retribution from the gods, destroyed the Two Trees, killed Fëanor's father, and stole the three Silmarils before fleeing back to Middle-earth and hiding in the Iron Mountains of Angband.

Upon learning this, Fëanor was furious. He renamed Melkor as Morgoth and, along with his seven sons, swore an oath to pursue Morgoth to the ends of the world, vowing to take revenge and reclaim the Silmarils.

He rallied all the Noldor Elves, including his two half-brothers, to leave Valinor and head to Middle-earth to avenge their father and break free from the control of the gods, intending to take charge of their own fate.

In their heated resolve, the Noldor, led by Fëanor, arrived at the coast. When the Sea Elves, who were in charge of shipbuilding, refused to go against the will of the gods, Fëanor ordered a massacre of the Sea Elves and seized the ships to depart from Valinor.

The gods were heartbroken upon learning this. Mandos, the god of death, even personally went after them to deliver a warning.

Among them, the families of the eldest and second princes ignored the warning, while the third prince came to his senses and returned to Valinor with some of the tribe, earning the forgiveness of the gods since they hadn't taken part in the Sea Elves' massacre.

However, the third prince's three sons and his youngest daughter, Galadriel, still wished to venture into Middle-earth, so they did not return with the others.

This also explains why Galadriel, in the movies, constantly seeks the forgiveness of the gods and hopes to return to Valinor.

The gods, deeply disappointed by the departing Noldor Elves, raised mountains and barriers outside Valinor and no longer welcomed any Elves to return, nor did they interfere with the events in Middle-earth.

However, at that time, the second children of Ilúvatar—humans—were born in Middle-earth. The gods, still using their divine power, coaxed one flower and one fruit from the withered Two Trees.

The flower and the fruit became the Sun and the Moon, bringing light to Middle-earth. They also created many stars, greatly weakening Morgoth's dark armies.

Thus began the Age of the Sun—the First Age.

The Noldor Elves who left Valinor later experienced internal strife. Fëanor's family, who arrived first in Middle-earth, burned the ships, forcing the other two groups to take a long detour.

Fëanor's group, the Light Elves who landed first, fought a brutal war against Morgoth.

This was the famous Battle Under the Stars.

The result: Fëanor died in a duel with Morgoth, but Morgoth was shocked by the immense power of the Light Elves, far surpassing the Grey and Wood Elves.

Later, the second prince's family and four of the third prince's children led their people across the icy mountains and finally arrived in Middle-earth as well.

Though resentful of the ship-burning incident by the eldest prince's family, they still united to push Morgoth's army back into the Iron Mountains, where he no longer dared to cause trouble.

However, after a long time, Morgoth bred dragons, raised hordes of orcs, and recruited many humans who believed in him. He launched a full-scale war against the Noldor, the humans, and the dwarves, who had lived in peace for a long time.

After centuries of warfare, the Noldor were nearly annihilated, and Morgoth's forces spread across Middle-earth.

Eventually, a human seafarer and his Elf wife carried one of the Silmarils and, guided by the Sea God, arrived in Valinor to inform the gods of all that had occurred in Middle-earth.

The gods forgave the sins of the Noldor and descended once more to Middle-earth, completely defeating Morgoth and imprisoning him in the Eternal Void.

Sauron, along with a few Balrogs and dragons who survived, fled in panic to hidden corners of the world.

This war also caused all of Beleriand in Middle-earth to sink beneath the sea, leaving only the eastern lands, which were originally remote.

Thus, the Second Age began.

Peace lasted for a long time. Sauron, believing the gods no longer watched over Middle-earth, inherited Morgoth's ideology and began to appear under a false identity among the various factions, forging the Rings of Power.

Sauron was defeated, the Second Age ended, and the Third Age began.

The events of the movies mostly take place during the Third Age, ending with the destruction of the One Ring and the close of that era.

According to the memories of his human incarnation, George deduced that they were currently in the First Age, as Morgoth was now blocked in the Iron Mountains by the Noldor alliance, and Beleriand was enjoying peace.

"No wonder it's a fantasy world—even an ordinary human has such strong physical abilities!"

Gathering his thoughts, George waved his arms and couldn't help but exclaim.

His incarnation in this world was a completely ordinary adult human male, yet the physical quality of this body was two to three times that of a typical human in the Marvel Universe.

This was understandable, as even in the Marvel Universe, the physical qualities of humans vary greatly between planets.

Let alone the Asgardians, even the Kree have much stronger physiques than Earthlings.

So in this fantasy-colored world, it's reasonable for humans to have extraordinary physical traits. Otherwise, how could they fight alongside Elves against monsters like orcs?

For George, the benefit was that both his original body and other incarnations had seen a significant boost in physical attributes.

"Awooo!"

Just as George got up, a wolf howl rang out, and six hungry wolves appeared around him.

The wolves were surprised to see George stand, but quickly pounced on him.

These wolves were nothing like Earth's. Each was as large as a tiger, and stronger and faster than any tiger. Likely, two or three Earth tigers wouldn't be able to defeat a single one of these hungry wolves.

Truly, the species of this fantasy world are extraordinary.

"Almost forgot about you!"

This human body belonged to a nearby human tribe. At this time, humans had yet to form kingdoms and lived in tribes, relying on the Elven kingdoms to survive.

While out hunting with his companions, they were attacked by the hungry wolves. After a fierce battle, this body's former owner was bitten to death.

As the wolves chased the other two humans, George happened to take over this body.

Now, the wolves, having failed to catch the other humans, had returned to claim their prize.

Facing the onrushing wolves, George picked up an iron spear from the ground. Electricity sparked over his body as he shouted:

"Take this!"

A powerful surge of lightning carried the spear and shot out instantly, piercing one of the wolves and pinning it directly to a tree.
