Chapter 57 - Ch 57: 3rd Hokage the stalker

Kushina wore a strange expression.

"Since this technique is so useful, why shouldn't we use it recklessly?"

"Because the experiences of each clone before it disappears are transmitted to the original body. The fatigue from intense training increases exponentially, and a large amount of memory suddenly floods the brain, sometimes easily turning a person into an idiot."

"You don't want to become an idiot like Nawaki, do you?" Tatsumi asked.

Kushina shook her head quickly. She didn't want to become like her brother.

Kushina looked into Tatsumi's eyes and promised, "Okay, I'll listen to you. I definitely won't abuse this ninjutsu."

Tatsumi nodded.

Then, he dusted off his clothes and stood up.

At this time, the sun was already setting slightly, and dusk arrived again. Tatsumi squinted his eyes, looking at the afterglow of the setting sun.

"Well, let's go back. It's getting late." Tatsumi smiled at Kushina.

Kushina puffed out her cheeks, unwilling to leave. She gazed at Tatsumi with a pleading expression.

So cute.

Tatsumi smiled. "Ah, I haven't eaten anything for a while. I'm so hungry."

"Are you hungry, Kushina?"

Kushina nodded quickly like a puppy. If she had a tail right now, it would probably be wagging happily.

"Alright then. Let's go. I'll treat you to the best ramen in Konoha." Tatsumi pulled Kushina along as they walked towards Konoha Village.

The summer sunset dyed the horizon orange-red. Looking far into the distance, the three Hokage faces stood side by side in the afterglow of the setting sun.

The sun continued to sink. Crowds of people were everywhere. Tatsumi and Kushina followed at the end of the crowd.

Kushina suddenly stopped, raising her head to look west.

The heavy clouds in the sky and the occasional rays of sunlight shining through them enveloped the distant houses in a faint color.

Kushina gazed at the scene before her, suddenly feeling a sense of déjà vu.

"What's wrong, Kushina?" Tatsumi stopped, letting the crowd pass them.

They were like small boats in the ocean.

"That's my hometown," Kushina said, pointing into the distance.

Tatsumi nodded, then said seriously, "We'll have a chance to go see it in the future. I'll go with you. Now Konoha is your home too, and we are all your family."

Kushina smiled.

"It's so amazing. When I first came, I was very uneasy, afraid of being bullied by the people of Konoha. I didn't expect to make so many reliable friends so quickly."

Uh, it's good enough if you don't bully others.

Kushina suddenly looked at Tatsumi.

"Hey, you said before that you would support me to become Hokage. Is that true?"

"Of course it's true," Tatsumi said without hesitation.

Joke, how could he say something false at this time?

"Alas, but I heard Minato and Nawaki say that you said you would cast your vote for them." Kushina smiled as she exposed Tatsumi.

"Ah, haha." Tatsumi was a little embarrassed. After all, he had been exposed on the spot.

Kushina didn't know that Tatsumi had also said he would support Tsunade and Hyuga Himeji to become Hokage. Anyway, his vote wasn't worth much.

Tatsumi decided that he would write a novel when he got back, called The Hokage I Supported in Those Years.

Speaking of Hyuga Himeji, Tatsumi seemed to have not seen her for a long time. Now, her brother Hyuga Hizashi should be branded with the Caged Bird Seal, right?

Seeing Tatsumi a little lost in thought, Kushina puffed out her cheeks.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?"

Tatsumi came back to his senses.

Looking at Kushina's sulky look, he smiled and said, "I was thinking that you are more suitable to be Hokage than Minato and Nawaki. So, this vote is definitely yours."

Kushina giggled, then turned around and walked ahead with the crowd.

In front of Ichiraku Ramen, Tatsumi and Kushina saw that a long line had already formed.

"There are too many people here," Tatsumi complained, holding his head. He should have come earlier if he had known.

Konoha needs to implement family planning.

"That's true." A strange voice made Tatsumi and Kushina turn their heads.

"Ho... Hokage Uncle!" Kushina exclaimed, looking at the person in plain clothes in front of her.

"Haha, keep it down." Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled, signaling Kushina to lower her voice, lest the surrounding people notice.

"What a coincidence, Kushina and Tatsumi." Hiruzen Sarutobi patted Kushina's head and said to them with a smile.

Tatsumi's pupils shrank, but he immediately concealed it.

Coincidence, what a joke.

However, Tatsumi had expected it. One was Konoha's future Jinchuriki, and the other was the orphan of his teammate Uchiha Kagami. The Third Hokage would contact them for both emotional and rational reasons.

"Good evening, Hokage Uncle." Tatsumi also put away his carefree personality and greeted him politely.

He and the Third Hokage were still somewhat familiar. After all, his father was Uchiha Kagami, and he and the Third Hokage were fellow disciples. After Uchiha Kagami passed away, he had visited Tatsumi many times.

Of course, the Third Hokage should have visited most of the war orphans in Konoha Village. After all, guiding these orphans was also the Hokage's responsibility.

As for the Uchiha clan leader saying that his father was killed by the Third Hokage and Danzo...

Please, he wasn't a child like Obito, so easily bewitched.

The truth of the matter was definitely not entirely as they said. Everyone would say it in the way that was most beneficial to themselves, and that was Rashomon.

"Just relax." The Third Hokage waved his hand, telling Tatsumi not to be so agitated.

Then he continued, "It's good to be young. Are you two on a date?"

The Third Hokage gave Tatsumi a smile that all men understand.

Ah, no wonder he was the teacher of the perverted sage Jiraiya. Tatsumi wasn't surprised at all that he could teach a pervert like Jiraiya.

"N-No, it's not like that!" Kushina's face immediately turned red.

"We just came out for special training and came to have a meal. It's not the same as those who secretly come out to eat during work hours!" Kushina said incoherently.

"....."

"Classmate Kushina, don't say anymore! Continuing to say that will hurt some people," Tatsumi said, covering his face.

The Third Hokage immediately waved his hand awkwardly.

In order to prevent Kushina from continuing to talk nonsense, Tatsumi quickly continued, "Hokage Uncle, you are busy with official duties, how could you be squatting here at the ramen shop at this time?"
