Chapter 18 - 18

"The captain actually made the Celestial Dragons call themselves pigs. I wonder what will happen once Mary Geoise finds out about this?"

"Tsk tsk… Is he really going to let the Celestial Dragons go?"

"Even if Captain Elior lets them live, there's no way Mary Geoise will accept such disgraced nobles back. Haha..."

"They won't be spared. And of course, the Celestial Dragons won't believe Elior's just playing around. They'll think he's toying with them before finishing them off."

From a short distance away, Shiryu and the others watched the Celestial Dragons' pitiful display. To be honest, seeing them like this with their own eyes was incredibly satisfying. After all, the entire world knows what kind of scum the Celestial Dragons are—untouchable, entitled, and above all laws. Even pirates live under more rules than them.

It was like witnessing society's raw hatred for the rich and untouchable.

"A powerful presence is approaching."

Shiryu suddenly extended his right hand toward his blade.

"Time to act. I'll handle Kizaru. It's been too long since I had a real fight."

Bullet clenched his fists. Even hidden beneath his clothes, his muscle mass gave off an oppressive sense of explosive strength.

The three disappeared from the scene in an instant.

Meanwhile, Admiral Kizaru was using his Yasakani no Magatama technique to move at high speed, dashing toward the broadcast. His mission was to stop Elior before he did the unthinkable — execute the Celestial Dragons. If that happened, it'd be hell to pay, even if Kizaru personally wasn't too worried.

But suddenly, a shadow burst from the treeline and kicked Kizaru straight into a massive tree with a thunderous crash, shattering its trunk like paper.

"Who—?"

Rising from the dust, Kizaru stared ahead — a tall, monstrous figure.

"Bullet… the Demon's Heir!"

Fwoosh!

Without hesitation, Kizaru launched a light kick, a glowing blast of energy speeding toward Bullet. But the latter stood his ground and punched the light attack, exploding it mid-air.

As the remains of a nearby house crumbled from the blast, Bullet stomped the ground and lunged forward with immense speed.

Though he had a Devil Fruit, Bullet's raw combat skill was monstrous.

"The man who once shook the New World… serving under a kid?"

Their fists collided. Kizaru could feel Bullet's strength — it wasn't like back in the day. He was even stronger than Rayleigh now.

"Temporary alliance. Don't tell me the Marine's scared." Bullet grinned darkly."Kizaru, you'd better fight for real. Otherwise, I might accidentally kill you. Even locked up, I never slacked off for a day!"

"Didn't think I'd walk in the world of the living again!"

Boom!

Kizaru stumbled back from the punch.

Just then, Sentomaru came charging in with his axe. But before he could land a blow, Shiryu appeared, blocking the strike and launching Sentomaru flying more than ten meters.

"This time, you won't get out alive"

Shiryu lunged. His blade crackled with a sinister violet aura. Sentomaru tried to block with his axe, but the impact nearly shattered it.

"PX-4!"

Sentomaru shouted, calling for backup. A moment later, a black shadow arrived — a Pacifista — its mouth glowing yellow as it charged a laser.

But just before it could fire, its head was obliterated by a massive sand blade.

Crocodile.

"I can't believe you guys are working together now" Kizaru muttered, clearly displeased.

Bullet ripped off his shirt, coating his fists in Armament Haki, and dashed at Kizaru again.

Kizaru retaliated, sweeping his leg toward Bullet.

Boom! The two forces clashed, sending a shockwave through the area, tearing up the ground.

"Were those three Celestial Dragons… executed?"

Kizaru frowned.

"Most likely. That guy… he doesn't bluff."

"You've stirred up hell at the worst possible time."

Kizaru growled, summoning his blade of light — Ame no Murakumo. He slashed at Bullet, who blocked it with his bare Haki-covered arms. Their speed increased.

Just as Bullet had said — Elior had already executed the Celestial Dragons.

He asked them to raise their heads. They thought it meant he would spare them.

But the next moment, Elior's sword swept horizontally.

Three heads flew into the sky.

Blood sprayed across the screen.

Their headless corpses dropped like rag dolls.

The crowd in the square was frozen, trembling.

"Holy shit! He really did it!"

Even Rayleigh, watching from afar, shook his head.

"Last time a Celestial Dragon was killed, it was Rocks' era. And we all know how that ended."

Rocks had slain many nobles, but he met a tragic end despite his strength.

As for the Supernovas, they were stunned. As infamous as they were, none dared touch the Celestial Dragons. Even the ruthless Kid had only slaughtered civilians. But Elior had executed the Celestial Dragons — live on air.

Arrogance? Madness? Or both?
