In the kitchen, Zeph was about to open the shutters to let in air when he noticed something unusual.
As a high-security agent, he made it his duty to be conscious of the slightest changes around him, so seeing a car parked in front of the bungalow next door was something new.
For the past two years that he's been staying in this apartment, no one has been seen going or coming out of that house. Has someone just moved in? Or there was more to that car being there?
As his sixth sense kicked in, he quickly made a call. Luckily he hadn't left his phone in the sitting room.
"Hey, buddy."
"How did the ops go?" Jack asked.
"Successful. But I have something I need you to help me with."
"What's that?" After hearing what Zeph said, Jack replied.
"It's a small task, why ask for my help?"
"I'm now the new cook the boss and Mercy just hired. Can you believe that?"
