"Enough of this," he growled, raising the gun. "Ms Vale or whoever you are, you're coming with us."
Zephyr's gaze snapped to the gun, then to Shantel. She'd seen it too. Without hesitation, Zephyr hurled a crowbar in his hand like a spear. It spun through the air and struck the leader's wrist with a loud crack, sending the gun skittering across the pavement.
Before he could recover, he closed the distance and landed a brutal kick to the man's chest, sending him crashing into the side of the van.
"That's the last time you point a weapon at my boss," Zephyr hissed.
But the fight was far from over.
One of the attackers grabbed Shantel from behind, attempting to restrain her. But Blake suddenly appeared beside her, directly delivering a punch into the man's face.
Shantel took the opportunity to stomp hard on his foot and slammed her head back into his face, feeling the satisfying crunch of his nose breaking.
