The next morning, unaware of the sleepless night her ordeal had brought to some people, woke up refreshed and ready to start her day. Except for the pain that shot from her arm, she had no immediate memory of yesterday.
With that came the awareness of the man who had helped her tend the wound and she couldn't help but feel warmth in her heart as she slowly ran her hand over her bandaged arm.
It seemed like a dream that she allowed herself to be almost devoured by the man she's hated for months. And yes, that was all it was ever going to remain— a dream. She would no longer allow herself to feel so vulnerable to any man… especially him.
With that resolve she made her plans for the day starting with some calls.
Top on the list was a visit to Luxe plaza which she had acquired the previous day.
