Zain stepped out from the mirror near the corner wall of the cabin.
Zelia shot up from the couch.
"Where were you?!" She snapped.
"You said you'd be back in a minute."
"Just what the hell were you doing?!"
Zain only gave a lazy smirk.
"Just handling some leftover business."
Savra, sitting on the window bench, tilted her head.
She sniffed the air once
"…Hmm?"
Then again, curling her lips.
"I smell grilled squid."
She sniffed again.
"And… perfume."
Zain's brow twitched.
"I ate squid, yeah."
He straightened his collar.
"And I helped a woman earlier. Maybe her scent stuck."
Savra leaned forward slightly, eyes narrowing with a playful glint.
"Helped her, huh? Is that what we're calling it now?"
Zain didn't flinch. "Pretty much."
Savra leaned back again, sipping her coffee with a smirk.
"Don't worry too much."
"Strong men attract attention. It's natural."
She glanced sideways at him.
"You can sleep with whoever you want..."
