The morning soon came for the world, and Rock woke up comfortably with no injuries or struggles. In fact, Rock had so much stamina and energy that he could run for a day.
Getting up. Rock checked his watch and noticed he woke up later than usual. It was 9:30 AM in the morning. Shrugging his shoulders, Rock got up and started a shower.
After the shower, Rock wore a fresh suit that fit his body perfectly. Before, the suit was baggy. Now, it was snug but airy enough for him to move without hindrance.
Walking out of his room. Rock noticed that Revy was already up. She had wet skin, and her black shirt clung to her body. Her hair was damp and let down with a towel resting on it.
"Oh? Nice to see you awake. I will make breakfast," Rock smirked as he waved at Revy while walking to the kitchen. He didn't forget what happened last night but did not need to keep thinking about it.
It happened. Rock will forget about it and will not change because of what happened.
Revy looked at Rock's back in the kitchen with dull eyes. She remembered last night and thought about how Rock was worried about her. He even stopped when she said so.
Her dull eyes regained their light, and she clicked her tongue as she stood up. She sat on the kitchen counter and watched while Rock worked on the meal.
"I am making some Pancakes or waffles. Choose your pick." Revy looked at Rock with confusion. Revy doesn't know what that shit is. Seeing her confused look, Rock understood.
Pancakes have been invented already. It seems that someone like Revy never cared about trying it. Especially when Roanapur was a shit hole where nothing good is kept forever.
"Watch and learn!" Rock smirked as he took out the ingredients needed for the pancakes. Putting them together in a few minutes. Rock poured the sweet batter into the pan and then added some chocolate.
Waiting for the side to cook, Rock flipped the pancake and then did this another six times. Enough food for both of them. Turning towards the plate where Rock put the pancakes, he sighed.
"Revy. You ate almost all of it!" Revy was eating the pancakes like it was water. Her eyes were shining while eating. Rock shrugged as he started eating.
They quickly finished their food and went outside to a target site where Revy could teach him.
"Oh, by the way. You are cooking for me every day! No negotiations!" Revy said with a smirk as she looked at Rock. Rock sighed while a smile appeared on his face.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go already." Rock said as the two entered a site on the beach. Arriving at a sight with targets put out in the sand, Rock was surprised.
"Fee." Walking towards the two, a Chinese guy put his hand out, waiting for money. It seems like this was owned by the Triads gang. Giving the guy money equal to 100 Dollars. They were let inside.
Taking a lane. Revy grinned as she took a pistol up from the stands. She twirled it around her finger before firing shots rapidly. In 3 seconds, she finished the whole clip.
Rock was not surprised at how fast Revy was. She is at least a peak human in speed. Her other stats are probably not as great as her speed, but definitely above the 30 range.
"Here, take this gun and show me your shot." Rock nodded and stood in front of the lane. Taking the gun, he focused as he zoomed in on the target.
Boom!
The gun went off, but no bullet hole was seen on the target. Rock felt his lips twitch as he watched. Revy laughed out loud while she held her stomach.
"Let me show you how to do it. Or you will never be able to shoot the target." Revy sneered as she walked behind Rock. Pressing against his back, she held his arm in her palm.
"Don't focus on the tip of the gun. That's not what shoots. Focus on the wind direction and look at the target. Your hand will naturally know where to shoot." Rock nodded and did as Revy said.
Taking aim. Rock felt the wind coming from the right, so he moved his gun to the right. He did not focus on the gun but on the target in his vision. His arm did the rest.
Boom!
Rock watched as a hole appeared on the outer edge of the Target. His system also notified him about something.
[Ding!]
[New skill gained!]
[Marksmanship Lv.1 - 10% Accuracy with a firearm.]
Rock felt his hand stop shaking and become steady. His vision improved slightly, and Rock could focus on things better. He could feel the air better with his skin.
Revy looked at Rock with surprise as he stopped and stood there. Raising his gun, Rock shot the target again. The aim was better than before as it hit the outer ring.
"Look at you! Good with the gun, huh?" Revy smirked as she looked at the target. It was not the best but for the third shot. Rock did better than most.
"Well, I think it's thanks to the teacher~," Rock turned to Revy and winked with a smirk. He was telling the truth since he would be trying for a long time.
He has no clue how shooting works, after all. He did not even know that air could change the direction of the bullet.
"Yeah, yeah. Smooth talk all you want, shithead. Now, get back to shooting!" Revy smirked as she walked to the next lane. She picked up a gun and stared at Rock with a challenge.
"Whoever has the most holes on the target before the timer of 1 hour is up. Pays for the drinks." Rock shrugged as he agreed. Taking aim, he let it rip!
Boom!
Rock barely hot the outer ring. Revy hit the dead centre. This continued until a few minutes later.
[Ding!]
[Marksmanship Lv.2 - 20% Accuracy.]
Rock felt his aim improve so much that he could constantly hit the target on the outer ring and edge. Rock was still not satisfied with his point. Revy continued hitting the dead centre.
"looks like you improved. But gotta do better than that to beat me!" Revy mocked Rock as her shot hit the middle of the target again. Rock sighed as he raised his gun.
[1 hour later.]
"Bring us 2 bottles of Bacardi," Rock ordered with a lost smile. He lost to Revy in the game. His marksmanship reached level 4 before the hour ended.
"You actually thought you could beat 2-Hand in marksmanship?" Benny and Dutch asked with raised brows as they looked at Rock. Revy smirked while taking a drink of her free alcohol.
"Shut up! I thought I got that!..." Rock said, though his tone was not convincing. He knew he would lose, but still did not think he would lose that badly.
"Here's the Bacardi!" Rock took a bottle and opened it. He poured it into his, Revy's, Dutch and Benny's glass. Rock can't get drunk, so he likes drinking.
"Cheers!" The four of them clicked their cups.
