"Alpha, do you see the chemistry between Lucas and Lydia?" Violet questioned, striding after the man as they walked out the house.
Sylas turned his head to look back at her. Amusement tinted the corner of his eyes. "You can be oddly perceptive in unnecessary situations."
Violet scrunched up her nose.
What was that supposed to mean?
Violet sighed. "It's sad they are not mates. They complement each other well."
"You little thing, you want more drama, right?" Sylas joked.
Violet cleared her throat at Sylas's accusation. "Alpha, you're wronging me here. I just think Lydia cares a lot about Lucas."
"I heard you mention my name. What's going on?" Lucas popped up from behind, staring at Violet with curious eyes.
Thinking how she was gossiping about Lucas's love life made her feel slightly guilty. Just as she was about to make an excuse, Lydia drove the car over and Violet slapped on his arm.
"There's Lydia with the car."
