Synopsis
In the neon underworld of Neo-Tokyo, Leon "Blackfang" Mercer reigned supreme — a brutal crime lord feared by all. Betrayed by his closest allies and left for dead, Leon clawed his way back from death’s door, only to sacrifice himself saving a stranger — a high school girl too careless to see the oncoming truck. As his life faded, memories of bloodshed, betrayal, and loneliness flashed before him. His final wish? A second chance — not as a king of crime, but as a normal man. Fate answered. Six months later, a 17-year-old boy named Ethan Graves wakes up in a hospital bed — but behind his young eyes burns the soul of the infamous Blackfang. A new life begins. New choices. New enemies. But can a monster ever truly escape his past? (Note This story is from my own imagination and all it's rights are mine and mine only for now. Also, I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com, wattpad.com, scribblehub.com as well.)

Chapter 1 - Leon "Blackfang" Mercer

In the neon-soaked alleys of Neo-Tokyo, Leon Mercer was more than a man —he was a storm. A king of the underworld. A name that could make seasoned killers tremble.

They called him "Blackfang"—the untouchable, the unstoppable.

Money. Power. Fear. He had it all—and he ruled with an iron fist.

But even kings can bleed.

On a night soaked in betrayal, Leon lost everything. His empire crumbled. His so-called brothers turned their blades against him. He fell—broken, bleeding—into the same streets he once owned.

The cold pavement kissed his skin. His blood spread like a dying flower.

No allies. No mercy. No second chances.

As death crept closer, Leon's mind reeled, flashing through the chaos of his life —the crimes, the wars, the faces of the damned...and then her. The girl who had died for his sins. The only person who had believed there was good left in him.

His heart clenched — not from the pain, but from regret deeper than any wound.

If there is a next life...he thought, as the darkness swallowed him —

No more blood. No more power. No more kings and crowns.

I just want a normal, peaceful life.

A bitter smile twisted his lips as his vision faded.

But fate...fate has never been kind to monsters like me.
