Ryker's pack had peace too. But he didn't use the presence of war to define the availability of peace. Instead, he preferred to let sleeping dogs lie and hoped that they wouldn't turn on him.
Well, he had gotten so good at that. I had learned that Ryker would offer deals to those who felt that he was inferior and should be taken over. And these deals he offered them were even more better than the violence they had planned to unleash on him in the first place.
