Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: Storm Zone, A Familiar Old Talent

The villa was a two-story building with six bedrooms and three living rooms. Each room upstairs came with its own private balcony. From the dazzling crystal chandeliers to the antique mahogany staircase and the soft carpets underfoot, everything exuded luxury.

As they stepped inside, Xia Yinyue's lips parted slightly in astonishment, her expression dazed.

"This villa was assigned to me by Teacher Zhou. We'll be living here from now on. What do you think?" Bai Ze introduced with a smile.

Hearing this, Xia Yinyue continued to explore the villa, her curiosity getting the better of her. Coming from a modest family, she had never seen such opulence, so her amazement was understandable.

"Um… does this mean we're going to live together?" Xia Yinyue turned to Bai Ze with a questioning look.

Bai Ze raised an eyebrow and said nonchalantly, "Of course."

"This place is so big, and there are so many rooms. Living here alone would be lonely," he explained. "Besides, why stay in a crowded dormitory when you can live in a villa?"

His reasoning made sense. With a simulator as powerful as his, it was safer to operate in a quiet and private space, avoiding unnecessary suspicion.

However, Xia Yinyue furrowed her brows slightly, suspicion flashing in her eyes. "This place is so spacious, just the two of us. You're not planning to…"

"Planning to do what?" Bai Ze cut her off, his expression stern. "What's with those thoughts? How dirty-minded can you be?"

"I—I'm not dirty-minded! You are!" Xia Yinyue stammered, caught off guard. In the end, all she could do was sigh and relent.

"Fine, whatever. I'm not arguing with you anymore. If we're living here, I'd better start tidying up a room," she said, puffing out her cheeks and heading upstairs.

She paused halfway, turning her head to ask, "By the way, which room do you want? I'll clean it for you while I'm at it."

"Hmm…" Bai Ze thought for a moment before answering casually, "Right next to yours will do."

Satisfied with his reply, Xia Yinyue skipped lightly up the stairs, disappearing down the second-floor hallway.

Meanwhile, Bai Ze kicked off his shoes and slumped onto the sofa.

There were still a few days left before the official start of school. He decided to use this time to develop his world further, as that was the top priority.

"System, enter my world," he commanded.

As his consciousness sank into the vast starry realm, a series of mechanical prompts echoed in his ears:

[Ding! Reporting major events.]

[Event 1: The meteorite bugs, led by Hyper Zetton, have broken through the world barrier and ventured into the southern region of the mother planet's universe. There, they discovered a massive shadow drifting in space. Preliminary analysis suggests it is blue. However, when they attempted to investigate further, they encountered a storm zone in the area.]

[Nearly 100 meteorite bugs were lost forever in the storm zone. With no other choice, Hyper Zetton led the remaining bugs back temporarily.]

[Event 2: Fortunately, during this time, the rapid reproduction rate of the mother planet's creatures filled the gap left by the lost meteorite bugs.]

[Major event report complete.]

The voice and on-screen text left Bai Ze momentarily stunned.

"Storm zone?" he murmured, puzzled.

A storm zone, also known as a chaos zone, was true to its name—an area of extreme disorder. It was filled with cosmic radiation, meteorite swarms, and space debris, making it a treacherous place to navigate. A single mistake could result in being swept away or obliterated.

Yet such zones didn't form randomly. Why would one appear so close to his territory? And why was it located near the massive shadow? Could there be a connection between the two?

"Sigh… There's so much to explore," Bai Ze muttered, feeling exasperated.

If the area was as dangerous as described, it wouldn't be wise to send his forces there directly. The losses would be unbearable.

After some thought, he looked out of his worldview to check on the villa. Xia Yinyue was busy cleaning a room and seemed like she'd be occupied for a while.

With some time to spare, he decided to use his simulator to explore the storm zone himself. That way, even if something went wrong, there would be no real risk.

"Alright, it's decided!" Bai Ze exclaimed, his mind made up.

Descending into his world, he issued a series of divine decrees. His commanding voice resonated within the meteorite bug swarm:

"Soon, I will use my divine power to create a simulation space similar to before. In this space, you will not experience real death. Make the most of this opportunity to complete the task I've assigned you."

The task was clear: explore the massive shadow to the south of the mother planet and uncover its secrets.

"We obey the will of the Father God and will fulfill your commands!"

Led by Hyper Zetton, the meteorite bugs knelt in unison, their hearts filled with awe at their deity's power. To create a space where even death could be reversed was nothing short of divine terror.

"System, initiate the simulation!" Bai Ze commanded.

[Ding! Based on the planet's area, this simulation will cost 3,000 Creation Points.]

[Proceed? Yes/No]

Bai Ze glanced at his remaining 7,470 Creation Points, hesitating slightly. Simulations consumed a significant amount of points, and he couldn't afford to waste any.

"Yes," he confirmed.

[Ding! Simulation initiated. Ten random talents have been drawn!]

Bai Ze reviewed the list, his eyes lighting up at a familiar name.

[Unity Consciousness (Purple): Creatures in your world will show a greater tendency to band together, forming tribes, civilizations, and even empires.]

"Fostering collaboration and development is always beneficial," Bai Ze remarked. "I'll take this one."

As he scrolled further, another familiar option caught his eye:

[Otherworldly Visitors (Purple): Creatures in your world have a small chance of intercepting secret information from the depths of the universe, potentially triggering some interesting events.]

"Heh, it's been a while," Bai Ze chuckled. "Alright, I'll pick this one too."
