Ryoto was crying and laughing, quickly pulling the two apart.
"Drink!"
Kushina was still holding her cup, and Ryoto directly took it from her.
"What the hell, I want to drink!"
"Stop drinking. Go home!"
Ryoto picked up Kushina, took two steps, then turned and kicked Uchiha Fugaku, who was drunk and trying to pounce at Uchiha Mikoto.
"Still want to get drunk and do something?"
Ryoto glanced at the half-awake, half-drunk Uchiha Mikoto, shook his head helplessly, and dragged them both away—
Leaving Fugaku clinging to thin air on the ground.
Just as they walked out, they ran into Mikoto's father.
So, Mikoto was handed over safely.
Then, Ryoto carried Kushina out of Uchiha territory.
Under the moonlight, Kushina murmured drowsily,
"Ryoto, five... six…"
Ryoto suddenly rolled his eyes, as if he saw the birth of another gambling monster.
In Konoha, another gambling monster is, of course, the famous Tsunade.
"Hey, Jiraiya, do you want to go to the hot spring?"
At this time, a hearty woman's voice came from ahead.
Ryoto followed the voice and blinked.
Isn't this Tsunade?
And that white-haired man… Jiraiya?!
Though he'd never met them before, Ryoto recognized them instantly.
Jiraiya's iconic white hair was a dead giveaway.
Jiraiya, looking righteous, replied, "No, let's report to the teacher first. No stalling."
"You really don't want to hit the hot spring? Great for stress relief. I heard this one's popular with the ladies—and now it's a mixed bath…"
As soon as Jiraiya heard "mixed bath," he made a U-turn toward the hot spring. "Oh, people need to relax! Come on, hot spring time!"
"Haha, you didn't say that just now."
Tsunade smiled wickedly and turned her head to see that she was facing Ryoto's gaze.
"Is that... Kushina?"
So late at night—and clearly drunk. Was this guy trying to take advantage of her?
He's dead meat.
"You bastard! You dare try something with Kushina?! YOU'RE DEAD!"
Tsunade flared up with blue chakra and lunged at Ryoto.
"Huh?"
Ryoto was confused. What was Tsunade about to do?
"Wood Release: Wood Dome Wall!"
Before Tsunade's punch could land, a row of wooden pillars rose from the ground, curving into an arch in front of Ryoto.
Boom!
A thunderous impact.
The ground shook.
Tsunade's chakra-infused punch shattered the wooden wall.
In the Hokage's office, Hiruzen Sarutobi was waiting for Tsunade and Jiraiya to report. Hearing the blast, he jumped to his feet.
"What now?!"
"Konoha really can't catch a break lately."
He grabbed his cloak, leapt out the window, and dashed across the rooftops toward the source of the explosion.
Meanwhile, Jiraiya, who had just stepped into the dream of mixed hot spring, was startled by the boom and looked back.
Tsunade's gone?!
He rushed out—only to see her in a full-on brawl with a young man.
Thick wooden roots erupted around the young man, shielding him from Tsunade.
A shadow clone?
Another version of the young man was behind them, still holding Kushina.
"That's Kushina… and Wood Release?!"
Jiraiya realized who it was. The rising star in the village—Ryoto.
Kunai and shuriken came flying in all directions.
Boom!
One nearly struck Jiraiya.
Tsunade shouted, "Let go of Kushina already! Our Senju clan has seen many weirdos, but you just raised the bar!"
"Oi! Why am I being dragged into this?!"
Jiraiya took a hit.
Still, Ryoto defended himself with a series of jutsu, holding Kushina securely.
He shouted back, "Hey, you gambling monster wanna call me out? Keep this up and I won't hold back!"
"Oh? You've got guts, kid. Let's see you try!"
Tsunade shattered the clone with a punch and leapt at Ryoto.
But vines whipped up, grabbing her feet, wrapping her whole body, and forming a massive tree that pinned her underneath.
"Wood Release: Tree Binding Eternal Burial!"
Tsunade's eyes widened.
Bang!
Another clone.
Her real self reappeared behind Ryoto.
"Not bad."
But before she could kick him, Ryoto vanished—and reappeared next to Jiraiya.
"What a fast teleportation technique," Jiraiya muttered.
Flying Thunder God?!
Did sensei teach him?!
Tsunade looked equally shocked.
Wood Release from the First Hokage… and the Flying Thunder God from the Second?!
Ryoto didn't attack again—because someone had arrived.
He looked up.
A beam of golden light shot from above—
Bang!
The Adamantine Staff slammed into the ground, followed by a figure descending.
The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, had arrived.
"Sensei!"
"Sensei!"
"Sensei!"
Suddenly, another figure stepped out of the shadows.
Orochimaru.
Now all of the Legendary Sannin—Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru—stood before the hot spring road, with the Third Hokage at their center.
