The night was thick with tension. Ochieng stood at the heart of his private war room, the air pulsing with silent agreements and deadly intent. Around him, the most powerful figures in Emerald City—Tielen, Bruno, Rolex, Victoria, Eugene, Walter, Omondi, Gloria, and Derick—waited for his command.
The map on the table displayed the territories of his enemies, marked in red. His uncle had grown bold, thinking he could erase Ochieng from history and claim his empire. But now, he had made a fatal mistake.
"We strike at dawn."
The room fell into a deadly silence.
Jeff was the first to respond. "How deep do we go?"
Ochieng exhaled slowly, his fingers tracing the rim of his whiskey glass. "All the way."
Gloria smiled. "That's what I wanted to hear."
Suddenly, the large double doors swung open. Shalom and Tilda entered, their expressions unreadable. Behind them, Lucy, Sophy, and Winnie followed, their presence commanding.
"There's a problem," Shalom said, placing a folder on the table. "We found the leak."
Ochieng took the folder and flipped it open. His gaze darkened. "It's him."
Everyone leaned in. The betrayer was someone from within.
"Rogers," Eugene muttered under his breath.
A trusted ally. A brother. A ghost from the past.
Ochieng clenched his jaw. "Where is he now?"
Tielen smirked. "Locked in the basement. Waiting for your judgment."
Silence fell.
Ochieng leaned back, his fingers steepled under his chin. He had given Rogers everything. And yet, he had chosen greed.
Finally, he stood. His voice was quiet, but it cut through the room like a blade.
"Let's pay him a visit."
