Under the dark sky, neon lights flickered in every direction.
Waldo pulled Regina's hand as they left the Flank casino. She still hadn't had the chance to change out of her server uniform. As she suddenly realized that they had already stepped outside the casino, she gasped, "I haven't finished my shift!"
"The game's over." Waldo's voice was cold, indifferent.
Regina froze for a moment, then quickly understood. The VIP section wasn't like the main floor—once the game she was assigned to ended, there were no further duties, no more arrangements. She could leave.
