Jesse was taken back by the fact that he wouldn't be joing Manchester United's academy, but Bolton Wanderers was also a pretty big step up compared to academies in Nigeria. Bolton Wanderers may not have been anywhere near the list of biggest clubs in the world, but Jesse didn't care much. It was a chance at professional football and he was more than willing to take it.
So far, Jesse was pleased with the situation — Manchester United may not have wanted him, but there was another open opportunity. However, one thing did concern him though...
Jesse's brows creased a little as he asked, "So... I'm not in yet with Bolton either?"
It didn't seem like there were any guarantees. Bolton was willing to give him a chance, but if he didn't impress at the trials, this beginning chapter of football would be closed as quickly as it was opened.
