Chapter 1 - The Beginning after the end-1

Welcome to the Year 3468!

Humanity has embarked on an extraordinary journey. In just 1,000 years—an astonishingly short time compared to the millions typically required—we have ascended to a Type 7 civilization. We now explore different universes, manipulate cosmic energies, and wield powers once thought to exist only in myths. Our reality mirrors the fantasies of ancient times, yet this remarkable progress can be traced back to one individual—the catalyst of our evolution.

In the heart of Aurora Dome, a breathtaking architectural marvel, an eager crowd gathered. The air pulsed with excitement, the atmosphere electric with anticipation. At the center of it all, a grand stage of silver and crystal floated in mid-air, shimmering under the dazzling lights.

As the venue dimmed, the stage burst into a breathtaking display of color and brilliance. Holographic screens illuminated the surroundings, wrapping the audience in a mesmerizing spectacle of sound and visuals. The surface of the stage rippled like liquid, revealing depths of wonder beyond imagination.

The roar of the crowd hushed as an armored host stepped onto the floating platform. His voice boomed across the hall, powerful and inviting.

"WELCOME, INHABITANTS OF NOVA TERRA! WELCOME TO THE NEW ERA EVENT!"

The audience erupted into wild cheers, their enthusiasm filling every corner of the vast dome. Excitement shimmered on every face—both here and in the countless homes where people tuned in.

The host's voice rang out once more.

"Tonight, we celebrate humanity's thousand-year journey—our struggles, our battles, and our triumphs. And to begin, we are honored to welcome the hero of our age. The War God. The son of the heavens. The cosmic sovereign who led us to victory—XANDROS DARKHAVEN!"

A hush fell over the hall as all eyes turned toward the stage.

Stepping forward, Xandros Darkhaven exuded an ethereal presence—one that felt almost divine. His golden hair, streaked with shimmering white, framed a face sculpted with celestial perfection. His radiant golden eyes, elegant white eyebrows, and jade-like skin gave him an almost otherworldly beauty. A soft smile graced his lips—warm yet commanding.

Pausing at the center of the stage, he addressed the gathered crowd in a voice as smooth as flowing silk.

"People of NOVA TERRA," he began, his tone both calm and powerful. "Today is a momentous day—one you've long awaited. At last, after relentless invasions by the void beings, we stand here, free."

A ripple of emotion spread through the crowd as Xandros continued.

"Through countless battles, we have fought for our home. We have mourned our fallen, witnessed planets reduced to ruins, and seen civilizations suffer under oppression. But we never surrendered. We fought with everything we had. And today, with unwavering resolve, we proclaim—"

He raised a clenched fist into the air.

"WE. ARE. FREE!"

The hall erupted in a deafening roar.

"LONG LIVE NOVA TERRA!""LONG LIVE XANDROS!"

The energy was infectious, a collective wave of triumph washing over the people. As the cheers subsided, Xandros spoke once more.

**"I am honored to have led NOVA TERRA to this moment of liberation. As your leader, I hereby declare this day—the day of our triumph—STELLA LIBERATION!"

The crowd roared with joy, their voices rising in celebration.

As the event transitioned into revelry, people began to mingle and celebrate, basking in a long-awaited sense of freedom.

(XANDROS POV)

Shortly after my speech, I left the event hall with Lucy, my elf assistant, through the back entrance. As we approached the hover car, something crossed my mind.

"Lucy," I asked, glancing at her, "how much was donated to the orphanages I requested?"

"Twenty billion Nova Coins each, Your Highness," she replied with a professional smile.

"Good," I nodded. "Let's go home. I need to finish up some projects."

Lucy, who had been by my side for seven centuries, turned to me with a concerned look.

"Your Highness, you promised to rest after the event," she reminded me gently. "I know you're immortal, but even cosmic beings need to take a break sometimes. You've done so much for civilization—it's okay to pause, even if just for a week."

I chuckled. "There's no need to worry, Lucy. The projects are mostly complete. They just need my final authorization. Once that's done…" I cast her a sideways glance. "I might take that vacation to the planet you've been talking about for so long."

Lucy's eyes widened. "Really?! You're serious?"

"Yes, Lucy," I said with a small smile. "It's a promise."

Her excitement was instantaneous. "YES! I've been waiting for this day! We need to pack—food, hoverboards, vacation outfits—oh, and maybe we should—"

I let out a quiet laugh as she rattled off a list of things. Though I didn't show it, I was happy too—not just for the vacation, but because Lucy was happy.

I still remember the day I found her. She was just an infant, abandoned in a secret realm—a Celestial Elf, a race known for their loving nature. I had investigated the realm further, only to discover the horrifying truth: her entire kingdom had been annihilated by void beings.

I couldn't leave her behind. So, I took her with me.

I named her Lucy and raised her as my own. She later volunteered to be my assistant, insisting that she wanted to work as hard as I did. But I knew the truth—she simply wanted to stay by my side.

She is the only light in my gray and bloodstained world.

Boarding the hover car, Lucy set the destination. In an instant, we entered hyperspace—a shimmering portal opening before us. Seconds later, we arrived at my golden castle, a towering masterpiece of celestial design.

As we exited the car, I wasted no time heading to my chambers.

Collapsing onto my luxurious bed—spacious enough to fit twenty people—I let out a sigh.

"Even as a thousand-year-old awakener, I feel mentally drained," I muttered with a small chuckle.

But a greater anticipation filled me.

"Tomorrow, I'll finally go on vacation with Lucy. And then… I'll confess to her."

Just as I closed my eyes, a familiar sound chimed in my mind.

[Ding!]

A translucent blue screen appeared before me.

A slow grin crept onto my face.

"Finally, I can rest. A thousand years of war and progress… and now, just for a moment, I can take a break."

I closed my eyes, allowing myself to reminisce.

"It feels like just yesterday—the day I acquired this system. The day my journey began."
