Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Visitors from Xianzhou Luofu

As everyone knew, the Antimatter Legion had been frozen by the sudden star core-induced cold wave. Even now, the Voidrangers at the bottom remained just as fresh as they were centuries ago.

Normally, Godzilla wouldn't have affected this area unless he was in Belobog or on his original mineral bed.

But of course, he just had to move.

And that was why the Voidrangers suddenly revived enmasse.

Of course, Sampo only dared to complain in his mind. Otherwise, he was certain that the Silvermane Guards chatting nearby would instantly appear before him and pin him to the ground in the blink of an eye.

--------------------------------

The crisis of the Antimatter Legion was stomped flat by Godzilla, who had come out looking for a new bed.

But Ji Yi still frowned.

"What's wrong?" Gepard was influenced by Ji Yi and looked serious.\

He knew that Ji Yi wasn't just putting on an act. This posture—could there still be danger nearby?

Ji Yi said solemnly, "With so many high-ranking Antimatter Legion members, I suspect that Jarilo might have a Doomsday Beast. Even if it doesn't, the resurrection of so many Antimatter Legion Soldiers gathering together will still attract the attention of the Antimatter Legion. When that happens, this place will be in danger."

Regarding the Antimatter Legion, Belobog had already obtained enough intelligence from Ji Yi.

Naturally, they understood what he meant by a Doomsday Beast.

That was a true planet-destroying weapon! A threat capable of annihilating all life on a planet!

No one doubted Ji Yi's words—when it came to the Antimatter Legion, he was far ahead of them.

Although what Ji Yi was truly skilled at was fighting the people of Abundance.

"This information is extremely important to us. Thank you very much. I will report to Lady Cocolia immediately." Pela had approached at some point and spoke seriously.

...

Time flowed slowly, peacefully, and happily.

Until a certain day.

Across the vast universe, a striking sight slowly passed through the starry sky.

"Lady Yukong."

"I told you, just call me Yukong."

Looking at the young man before her, Yukong smiled slightly.

Ever since she knew that Tingyun was safe, she had felt completely at ease.

"Miss Yukong, why is there suddenly a swarm rampaging through that star system?" Yanqing asked curiously.

Logically speaking, the primary task of the Swarm of Propagation was to follow the path of propagation. This also meant they required a vast amount of nutrients.

Propagation under this Aeon's path wasn't simply ordinary reproduction—it could turn an entire planet into a nest in a very short time. There was no reason for the swarm to ignore more nutritious resources and take such a detour.

After pondering for a while, Yukong remained puzzled as well.

That route was not particularly special in the vast universe.

Not only had the their merchant guild traveled it for countless years, but other trade guilds, space pirates, mercenaries, and nameless wanderers had also passed through.

Yet something had gone wrong when Tingyun traveled there.

At that moment—"Lady Yukong, Lord Yanqing, we have arrived at the star domain where Jarilo-VI is located. We have detected a large swarm of insects dormant in the asteroid belt. Shall we launch an attack?"

"Launch a long-range attack! Annihilate the swarm with minimal cost!"

This time, the forces dispatched by the Xianzhou included not only Yukong, the legendary star skiff pilot, and Yanqing, the strongest of the younger generation, but also a large number of Cloud Knights.

For the Xianzhou, they were already frustrated at not being able to find the people of Abundance to fight— And now, a swarm of insects dared to show up?

Think you can offend us and still escape?

No one knew how much time had passed when a locust-like insect poked its head out, its emotionless compound eyes observing everything around it.

Suddenly, it caught the scent of food.

Its wings flapped instantly, and it raised its head, preparing to let out a screech to summon its kin for a feast.

The next second, a flash of white light appeared.

"Zzzt?" Before it could call its companions to dine, its mouth was sealed forever.

Then, its companions, not wanting it to be lonely, all chose to join it.

"Zzzt—!!!" A newly hatched larva frantically clicked its mandibles, letting out a piercing shriek.

But in the next moment, it met the same fate as the others.

...

"Wow! So beautiful!" Hook opened her mouth wide, eyes staring at the 'fireworks' suddenly blooming in the sky, unwilling to miss even a second.

"That is the Cloud Knights' long-range strike!" Ji Yi was thrilled. There was no doubt that the Cloud Knights were clearing out the swarm.

Where the Cloud Knights' attack reaches, no insects survive!

Cocolia's gaze was heavy. If just a single fleet for transport was this powerful, what would the true Xianzhou Luofu be like?

And there were five more Xianzhou vessels like Luofu according to what she had heard.

The Xianzhou Alliance was one of the top forces in the universe, but not the only one.

Above it stood powers such as the Interasteral Peace Corporation, The Family, The Masked Fools, The Genius Society and the Antimatter Legion.

Each one was not something that Jarilo could afford to provoke.

"Speaking of the Interasteral Peace Corporation, I seem to have seen records about them." Cocolia pondered. Belobog had lost too many documents, but she remembered seeing files with the IPC's name.

She would go back and search for them.

No one knew how much time had passed when the grand fireworks display in the sky finally ended.

Rows of Silvermane Guards stood tall in an orderly formation.

Then… the clouds parted!

A flagship, embodying science fiction from start to finish, pushed aside the thick clouds and slowly descended from the sky. With a deep thud, it stabilized, and its front hatch doors opened unhurriedly to both sides.

Two figures, one tall and one short, stepped out first.

It was Yukong and Yanqing.

Behind them, the solemnly armored Cloud Knights stood as an imposing escort.

Just one glance made Bronya secretly apprehensive.

With such a powerful presence and disciplined force, it was no wonder they ranked among the top.

Belobog was still far too weak.

As Belobog's current ruler, Bronya felt a deep sense of urgency.

Jarilo desperately needed strength.

"Welcome, everyone, to Jarilo. As the Grand Guardian of Belobog, I extend my warmest greetings to you all." Bronya stepped forward and spoke in a clear voice.

"Miss Bronya, you're too polite. We are only here safely thanks to your help." Yukong eagerly looked around, trying to find Tingyun, but only saw the foxian who had accompanied her. Holding back her inner anxiety, she softly said,

"Luofu never neglects its friends. Since Jarilo has aided us, we shall return the favor."

"Matters can wait for later. You have traveled a long way, and we must properly host you first."

Listening to Bronya's formal response, Cocolia couldn't help but rub her forehead.

As expected, such an occasion didn't suit Bronya.

But the outcome was good, so she let her be.

On the way, the Xianzhou group huddled together, whispering among themselves.

Belobog didn't place much emphasis on empty formalities, and since both Yukong and Tingyun were foxians, they must have been quite close. It was only natural for them to be concerned about Tingyun's absence.

"Lord Tingyun, Lord Yanqing." Ji Yi addressed them solemnly.

Yanqing gave a slight nod and patted his arm.

"You've worked hard this time," Yukong said gently.

"It's my duty!"

After some casual conversation, Ji Yi hesitated for a moment before asking, "Lady Yukong, are you worried about Miss Tingyun?"

Yukong didn't hide it. There was no reason to. She nodded.

"Uh, Miss Tingyun is safe right now. How should I put it..." Ji Yi scratched his head in frustration, his tone carrying a hint of resignation. "Once I take you two to see her, you'll understand."

Yukong blinked, confusion deep in her eyes.

...

Meanwhile, on the other side, Tingyun—who hadn't expected the ship to arrive at this time—was still with Godzilla.

As she vigorously wiped Godzilla's tail, she pondered whether she could convince it to move.

Godzilla, however, had no such inner drama and was simply enjoying the service.

"The power is great. It hurts when it hits, but it heals quickly. No real threat."

After some quick calculations, Godzilla roughly gauged the impact of those attacks on itself. With a conclusion, it confidently closed its eyes again and, as a small gesture, lightly tapped Tingyun's head with the tip of its tail.
