Chapter 3 - The Monsters Are Back

At the directorate, Ana arrives and asks Yuri as soon as she sees him.

 - Is he all right?

The teacher quickly goes over to her.

 - Calm down and wait outside.

But she sees his head turning towards her, and is relieved.

 - Good, at least he's awake.

So the principal goes to his office.

 - Let's tell his parents and call his sister.

Still coming to his senses, he thinks.

 "Why am I in charge?"

He sees everyone around him worried and asks himself.

"Why is everyone worried about me? What is it?"

Then he starts to see Tel looking at him from a distance, but he also hears the director calling his mother in front of him.

 - Hello.... Madam Mother, your son has just fainted in the living room... Yes..... So I'm asking you to come and get your son or take him straight to a doctor... Got it, then I'll call your daughter too, okay? ... Okay then.

Lucas sees Yuri in front of him and then goes over to the principal.

 - He's awake, he's already recovering.

 However, the director immediately comments.

 - But it's better to take him home or to a suitable doctor, because fainting could be a sign of something worse in his health.

After a while, Julia goes over to where he was and sees that he's awake.

 - I'm glad you're awake.

The director goes over to her, saying.

 - Julia, your mother is already on her way to pick up your brother and you're going too.

 She replies.

 - Okay, I've got everything, and thank you very much for taking care of my brother so quickly.

Then he hears a horn honking, and Julia, looking into his eyes, speaks to him.

 - Can you walk to the car?

When he hears this, he replies, not loudly or quietly.

 - I think so.

But then he hears a voice.

 - They're after you.

He turns his head and sees Tel next to him looking him in the eye.

 - They're looking for you, hide now.

Knowing it was just a hallucination, he gets up and goes to his mother's car with Ana, Julia and Yuri, the teacher and the principal, but then he thinks.

"You did this to me, didn't you, Tel?"

 Then he hears.

 - That's what it took to get his attention.

"Just one eai would be fine."

Suddenly he hears Tel speak seriously and macabrely.

 - What did you expect? After locking me up in a prison for nine years?

Then he arrives outside the school, and there is his mother, with a beauty like Julia, who comes up to him and asks.

 - My son, are you all right?

 He had recovered and replied.

 - I think I'm a bit better.

She said this before getting into her red car.

 - Let's go home then, I still have to go back to work, I've only had a short time to pick you up.

Like this, already heading for the car.

 - We're going home, can you make it in the car?

He replies and then starts to walk to the car.

 - Yes, I can.

 Julia follows Lucas.

 - Well, I guess now it's time for me to go too.

Arriving at the car, his mother says loudly to the principal.

 - Thanks for letting me know! Have a nice day!

Lucas gets into the car and says goodbye to everyone.

 - All right!

Julia hadn't even reached the car when she shouted to them.

-Thank you for looking after my brother! Bye!

So Yuri, Ana and others watched them get into the car and drive away.

"I hope the cause of this fainting is nothing serious."

 Yuri.

"Holy shit, this is the first time I've seen this happen and it's to him, what the hell."

Lucas is driving home while looking out of the car window, thinking.

"But why would they be after me? Maybe it has something to do with that day, since I don't even remember what happened anymore, I just feel so scared and sad just thinking about it."

Then Tel appears in the reflection of your mirror, saying.

 - The answer lies in that day.

Lucas, for his part, immediately thinks.

"But I don't even remember that day properly."

 Tel then replies seriously.

 - Face your fears before they become real.

Lucas is walking in the dark with a flashlight, the place looks like a labyrinth, there are some squares on the walls, which were his as a child, and he thinks about it.

 "What is this place?"

In the meantime, he hears a metal clang and, not knowing what it is, he looks behind him, thinking.

 "Who's making that noise?"

Looking behind him, he sees a terrible creature, made up of human parts, metal parts and a worn-out panda costume, the creature seems to be falling to pieces, and he is startled to see it.

 "My God."

On the other hand, when he saw it, the creature began to walk towards him and then began to run after him, and Lucas, faced with this situation, began to run through the labyrinth, thinking.

 "What the hell is that?"

Until he finds a door and quickly tries to open it.

 "Come on! Let's go!"

And when he succeeds, he immediately enters the place and closes the door.

"Maybe he didn't see me just now."

The creature immediately starts banging on the door, Lucas in turn tries to hold the door with his body.

"I have to put up with this!"

But the knocking stops, and relieved, Lucas thinks.

 "Thank God it's stopped."

However, he soon found himself in a kitchen similar to the one in his house, the only difference being that he wasn't alone.

 - Who's here? Come out!

Then he hears a sound coming from the ceiling, and when he looks up and shines his flashlight on it, he sees another creature of the same shape as the previous one, but in costume it's a completely worn-out centipede, but its body is centipede-shaped.

 "Not that one!"

 The creature attacks him.

 He hears a voice.

 - Let's have lunch, Lucas! If you don't want to eat, that's your problem!

It was Julia, who only opened the door to say that and then left, closing it.

 - I'll be right there!

 He got out of bed.

 "What was that?"

 Suddenly Tel answered him.

 - That was only the beginning.

He was briefly startled by the sudden speech.

 - You're going to have to get used to me from now on, I'm not going to let you lock me in a prison again.

As he left the room, he thought.

"I wanted to do that, but I can't remember how."

 Tel replies vehemently.

 - Really? Try doing it again and you'll see what real torment is like

"I was only joking, if I'd known, I'd have done it already, understand?"

 - So you've been warned, you can try, but I'm going to torment you more than you already are for them.

He flushed the toilet and went to wash his hands, thinking.

"But not now, what are those things?"

Tel replies, a little worried, as he leaves the bathroom.

 - They're the ones I was talking about.

 Then he hears macabre laughter.

And suddenly he sees, in the blink of an eye, several humanoid figures staring at him in frightening ways.

 And in another flash

 Tel appears in the center.

 Then he says to Lucas.

 - Now you're not going to trap me in the confines of your mind.

After hours, it was night and Lucas was asleep, until a sound of metal woke him up.

 "What was that?"

Getting up, he quickly went to turn on the bedroom light.

"That's wonderful, the light bulb's burnt out or the house lights have gone out."

Suddenly he heard a thunderclap and saw a flash of lightning, which briefly illuminated his room.

 "So there's a storm coming?"

He goes to bed to lie down while he thinks.

"I have class tomorrow, I don't have to worry about that now."

Then he hears the sound of metal.

"But that doesn't sound like a thunderstorm"

Extremely suspicious of what it could be, he goes to the door using the flashlight on his cell phone, opens it, but when he looks outside, he sees nothing.

"Maybe it's Tel trying to scare me"

As he closes the door, he ends up looking at the window, and just then there's another flash, but the brief light from the clouds reveals the Being in the window staring at him.

 - My God!

The one in the panda costume then broke the glass of the window and started to enter his room.

"Oh no! No! No! I've got to get out of here now!"

He immediately tries to get out of the room, but when he does, he sees the centipede that killed him in his nightmare in the hallway.

 "That's all I need!"

He quickly goes and locks himself in the bathroom, the rain starts, thunderstorms don't stop, so he tries to hide next to the toilet, which if they manage to open the door will hide him too.

"Calm down! Calm down! It'll pass!"

But during a brief flash of lightning, a child's body appeared in front of him, with organs and bones exposed, it was standing there looking at him with its emptiness in what used to be eyes, and it went to him, but Lucas was very frightened and tried to get out of the bathroom.

"Come on! Let's go! I have to get out of here quickly! Come on!"

And just as he manages to get out, he hears.

 - It was your fault that this happened to me.

His cell phone alarm goes off and he wakes up screaming.

 - It wasn't my fault!

He looks around and sees that it was a bad dream, and calming down he thinks.

"Was it a nightmare? Good, but it seemed so real, this thing drives me crazy every time I think about it, maybe I need to stop thinking about it for a while."

Getting out of bed and turning off the alarm clock, he leaves the room.

"I wonder if this is a sign that they're getting closer to me, these nightmares are getting more and more real, soon I won't even be able to tell the difference between real and imaginary."

He continued to go to the bathroom.

"But what really happened that day?"

However, before he enters the bathroom, Julia interrupts him and asks.

 - Are you all right?

Seeing the concern expressed by his sister, he thinks.

 "So she heard my scream."

He replies after a short reflection.

 - It was nothing, just a bad dream.

She goes into the kitchen, saying a little seriously.

 - If you have any problems, just let me know and I'll help you, maybe a psychologist or something.

Hearing this, he goes into the bathroom thinking.

. "It's the same thing I've been told several times, and it's never worked, and it's not going to work now."

But as he closes the bathroom door, he sees that child's face in the mirror of the small bathroom cupboard, which scares him. Julia quickly goes to the door and asks.

 - You really don't want me to help you?

 Calming down, he replies.

 - I don't need to, it was nothing.

 But then he thinks.

"That face is out of nowhere, I'm awake, aren't I?"

He pinches his own arm and when he feels it, he continues thinking.

 "I guess I am awake."

 But suddenly he hears.

 - We're watching you, smile because we'll be right in front of you.

Without understanding anything, he quickly speaks quietly.

 - What was that?

He looks around and also at the small bathroom cabinet, and sees that that face has disappeared, relieved, he thinks.

 "So that's gone, good."

He washed his face and dried himself while thinking.

"Let's hope it doesn't get in the way tomorrow."

Leaving the bathroom, he went about his normal routine.

"I don't know why, but I can't even remember his name, and where's Tel? He went for a walk and never came back, did he?"

He was almost at the school when Tel's voice came to mind.

 - No, I'm fine, how strange of you to ask something like that, what's wrong with you?

Lucas is startled by the sudden response, which he answers mentally.

"It's just that yesterday I had a very unusual dream, even by my standards, the figures I always see aren't unusual anymore, but they are in my dreams, they probably mean something and with all that going on, you disappeared out of nowhere."

 Tel replied a little worried.

 - That's what I was most afraid of, if these dreams continue they'll find you soon!

"What do you mean? How could they find me like that?"

 - Are those things connected to you in some way, perhaps spiritually? Those things emanate a great hatred and sadness within them.

Hearing this answer, he asks again mentally, being confused and unconvinced about it.

"But how can I break this connection?

 Tel replies bluntly.

 - I don't really know how to do that, but I'll try to find out.

 "That's it."

 - Well, I'm not the one who has to do all this work, you should also try to find something useful in your nightmares.
