The Boys was a series that deconstructs the good superhero genre.
It was no secret that the author hated all superheroes except Superman, the original author directly used The Seven as a parody of the Justice League, while injecting deep flaws of human nature into the mix.
All the evils of humanity you could imagine are depicted here in extraordinary ways, to the point where it becomes comes full circle and becomes a dark comedy, causing the work to receive negative feedback.
Later on, the author set his sights on Marvel, parodying the Avengers by creating a "Payback" League, with corresponding X-Men characters, the G-Men.
The characters in this series still present a facade of glamour, while behind the scenes, they are malicious and ugly. Here, it seems that superpowers don't bring light and hope, but instead awaken the darkness of human nature.
The harmfulness of superhumans and the distortion of human nature form the main themes of this work.
The TV adaptation focused heavily on satirizing reality and critiquing the ugly aspects of the political and social environment in the U.S.
This was Wanda's first impression of this world.
In her past life, she never watched the whole thing, she just watched parts off it on the internet.
Now Wanda was pondering, what to do. Should she pull strings behind the scenes or just use brute force.
Wanda decided to go with the flow for the time being.
It was 6:30 PM, and the sky had already darkened.
Wanda destroyed the blood stained bed sheets. After she was done she took a shower. In the bathroom she looked at her current appearance. Sarah had short blond hair and small profile. After exiting, she changed into a black hoodie and black trek pants.
She strolled on the side walk. Pedestrians walked past her, oblivious to the fact that they walked past a walking disaster.
The evening breeze held slight cold to it as it blew on Wanda's skin.
What about the party? Obviously she wasn't going to ruin her mood by going there.The veins of her head bulged at the mere thought of mingling with hormonal students and rich stuck up pricks. She was afraid she might blow up the place.
As she walked, Wanda came across a street food stall. The owner was a Asian man with grey hair.
Wanda approached the stall and sat down. "Hey boss! Give me the menu"
The cook handed her the menu. Wanda took the menu and skimmed through it.
"boss! Pork chops and noodles".
"Wait a minute!".
Few minutes later the owner served Wanda her order.
When she was eating, from the corner of her eyes she saw a man and a woman enter a alley.
She noticed that a strange chemical was flowing in their blood. Since this is the world of homelander universe, that chemical could only be one thing, compound v. The thing that gave a normal human meta abilities.
Seeing them leave, Wanda started to speed up.
"Hey! hey! Girl do you want to choke to death", the owner was frightened after seeing Wanda shove down food hastily.
If the girl dropped dead on his shop, it will be trouble.
Wanda grabbed a water bottle, drinking water speed up her eating speed.
Burp!
Finally Wanda finished eating. She paid the bill and started walking towards the alley where the two disappeared in a moderate pace.
Halfway through, Wanda heard the voice of the stall owner. "Hey girl!! Your change!!".
Wanda waved her hand without turning her head, "Keep the change"!!.
Soon she reached a abandoned hotel. The building looked worn down, as if the whole thing will fall down from a gust of wind.
As soon as she entered, she heard suspicious noises coming from the ground floor.
She poked around and found the source of the strange noises.
Wanda stood before a wall. She put her hand on it—that moment a visible door opened.
Behind the door she saw a scene so debauched that she will have to pour bleach on her eyes to wipe it out of her memories.
Behind the door, a group of supes were indulging in pleasure of the flesh, their bodies entangled in a mess. Wanda did a quick count and found out there were three man and four woman, one African American and six Caucasian.
They were a group of street level heroes, once in a while, they gathered to indulge in bodily pleasures. Today was the same as any other day until a short haired blonde woman barged in, interrupting their debauchery.
A black supe seperated from his partner, huffing, he looked at the intruder with sinister eyes, "hey! Chick! Where did you come from"? He sneered, "Now that you're here, don't even think about escaping"
A cold glint flashed in Wanda's eyes, she snorted, "you filthy mounds of excrements! , I'll send you all to hell"!.
Wanda froze them at place, the supes were terrified after finding out their movement were restricted. For anyone, the loss of their motor function will horrify them, let alone these group of people who where used to roam freely among sheeps.
They tried to scream but only muffled noises came out. They were very confused by the sudden turn of events.
Ignoring them Wanda exited the room and enveloped it in a air tight space barrier.
Wanda rotated her hand clockwise, immediately the atmospheric pressure inside the room started to drop dangerously. The sudden drop of atmospheric pressure caused dissolved gasses to erupt from their blood, boiling it instantly, breaking the liproproteins usually keeping the fat dissolved, soon their hearts and lungs were filled with fat.
They could have never imagined that they will meet their ends in this manner.
After Wanda walked out of the alley, she undid the space barrier inside the room. As soon as the space barrier was removed—the room exploded, taking the whole building down with it.
Her mood was jubilant as she walked back home. Ever since she started to grow, her nature began to become blood thirsty and her tendency towards brutality started to increase. Her rational side kept her in check so she won't start rampaging across the omniverse randomly.
Anyways, it felt good to let out her emotions once in a while.
They should consider themselves lucky that Wanda gave them relatively quick death. Wanda could have tortured their souls for eternity if she wished.

The commotion caused by the explosion soon alerted the authorities.
When the construction team and police team reached the spot, they were left speechless. There was no earthquake today on the entire North American continent, so how come this building fell on it's own.
Soon they got to work. After hours they managed to remove most of the rubble.
"Ahhh"!! A worker shouted in fright.
"What happened"? The police officer next to him asked curiously. He saw the worker point his finger towards a specific direction. His line of sight followed the worker's finger, his eyes widened after seeing a bloody hand protruding from the rubble.
The officer told everyone of his discovery. After hearing that there were corpses, the workers started digging faster.
Some time later, they found seven mangled corpse.
The police took the bodies for identification. Soon the identity of the bodies were revealed. It turned out they were superheroes working for vought international. The police contacted their agent.
Without hesitation, the terrified agent reported the matter to Vought International.
Upon hearing the news, Vice President Madelyn Stillwell was deeply alarmed. She immediately sent Homelander and a public relations team to the scene.
When they discovered human organs and fingers in Lyle's refrigerator, everyone knew they had a serious problem.
A group of superheroes ended up dying in a gruesome manner.
News got leaked out about a team of superheroes dying in a mysterious manner, if not handled properly,their reputation will take a hit. Not to mention from the autopsy they found out they were doing some unsavory things before meeting their ultimate end.
At the same time, Vought's PR team launched into action.
They began spreading news that the heroes met their ultimate end fighting a formidable villain.
Regardless of how the situation evolved, their goal was to control the narrative. By making them martyrs, they could minimize the fallout.
To divert public attention and suppress unwelcome rumors, Vought International also made another major announcement:
They revealed the newest member of The Seven—Starlight.
Nothing could command global attention more effectively than The Seven, the world's most powerful and high-profile superhero team.
When the news broke, it instantly dominated headlines.
Everyone began digging into the life story of the lucky girl who had joined The Seven, analyzing why she had been chosen.
Wanda, too, followed these developments in silence.
As she watched the TV screen, focusing on the girl in the white suit, wanda folded her arms and fell into deep thought.
She was trying to think of suitable people to turn into believers. She did not need to spread her faith among the masses like the traditional religions. Having handful true believers was enough.
Like a ghost, her mind power sweeped across the globe, silently watching those drowning in despair, studying their every move. But after all this time, she had gained no new candidate.
Frustrated, she turned her attention back to superpowered individuals.
