Mirelah;
Queen Velnara immediately grabs my arm and forces me to face her.
"Dear, this pales in comparison to the scorching rite. Time is different there. A day here is: days… weeks… or even months in there.
I know what you're thinking, but you can not do this. Please, Mirelah. You'll die.
I have so much faith in you, but you'll die if you go in there. There's no two ways about it. No miracle. Nothing." She speaks frantically and my heart breaks.
She cares so much about me. I wonder if this is how my mother would have been if she was still alive.
"Do you want me to go back home then?" I ask her, and she stares at me with wide eyes.
"Going back home is better than this. This is death, Mirelah. You can not do this. I won't let you." She says, and I smile at her.
"I can't go home," I whisper to her as I hold her hands, and her mouth falls open.
