Location: Unknown – The Light's Meeting
A darkened room. A long table surrounded by holographic projections of some of the most powerful figures in the world. The Light had convened.
Vandal Savage sat at the head, his ancient eyes calm but calculating. Beside him, Lex Luthor, Ra's al Ghul, Queen Bee, Ocean Master, The Brain, and Klarion the Witch Boy listened as a holographic screen displayed footage of Avon Von Deovola.
They watched in silence as he fought Doctor Fate, even if he was just testing and emerged victorious.
Lex Luthor was the first to break the silence. "A fascinating specimen." He adjusted his tie. "Cadmus outdid themselves this time. Based on what I could find from his database, he has genes from various species incorporated into his body. Doomsday, Werewolf, A drop of Divine-demigod blood from the Amazon and countless others. He is truly a wonderful specimen."
Ra's al Ghul folded his hands. "He is not merely strong. He is a warrior in both body and mind. A true predator."
Queen Bee leaned forward, a smirk playing on her lips. "And oh, what a fine specimen he is. A shame he doesn't seem... persuadable."
Vandal Savage's expression remained unreadable. "He is chaos incarnate. That concerns me."
Ocean Master scoffed. "Concerns? He is one beast. A powerful one, yes, but what does it matter to us?"
The Brain's robotic voice hummed. "It matters, mon ami, because he does not follow a pattern. He does not play by our rules."
Luthor tapped the table, zooming in on Avon's aura manipulation on the holographic display. "His power… it evolves."
Klarion giggled, floating upside down in his hologram. "And isn't that fun?! He made Fate look like a little baby wizard!"
Savage steepled his fingers. "Fun? No. It is dangerous."
Lex leaned forward. "Then the question becomes… can he be used?"
The room went silent again.
Ra's spoke first. "Unlikely. He is… prideful. Strong-willed. Not one to bow."
Queen Bee sighed. "Shame. I wouldn't have minded having him under my spell."
Ocean Master growled. "Then we kill him before he becomes a greater problem."
Lex smirked. "Oh, it's far too late for that."
Savage finally spoke again. "Killing him would be… difficult. And I do not enjoy losing resources unnecessarily."
Luthor nodded. "I agree. We observe him for now. Learn his weaknesses if he even has any."
Savage turned his gaze to Klarion. "You are the most capable of matching him although he surpresses magic from what we've seen. Would you take the challenge?"
Klarion grinned widely, his eyes glowing red. "Oh, now that sounds like fun!"
Savage gave a slow nod. "Then it is settled. We let the chaos unfold… for now."
The Light had made its move.

Location: Gotham – Avon's Instincts Stir
Avon sat on the edge of a rooftop, watching the city below.
Something felt off.
He could feel it. Eyes on him. Watching. Studying.
His golden-red eyes flickered toward the shadows. He sniffed the air.
Magic. Blood. Power.
Something old. Something wrong.
He growled lowly.
"The hunt is coming."
He cracked his knuckles, his blood-red aura flickering to life.
"Good."
Because he was ready.
