Scene: Pedro's Apartment – Early Morning
Sunlight filters softly through the curtains, the golden rays dancing across the bed where Pedro and Lisa lie tangled in each other. The world outside is still quiet, but inside the room, there's a gentle kind of peace—the calm after a passionate storm.
Pedro stirs first, his arms tightening around Lisa as he plants a sleepy kiss on her shoulder.
Pedro: softly "Morning, love."
Lisa stretches with a content sigh, eyes fluttering open to meet his.
Lisa: "Mmm… Morning. Did we really sleep in this late?"
Pedro: smiling "We earned it."
They share a slow, warm kiss before eventually rolling out of bed. After freshening up together—stealing playful glances in the mirror and bumping shoulders while brushing their teeth—they head to the kitchen.
Pedro makes coffee while Lisa preps eggs and toast. It's a simple breakfast, but it feels like a ritual, a shared life in the making.
Pedro: teasing as he flips an omelet "If you keep cooking like this, I might just chain you to this apartment."
Lisa: laughing "Not a bad deal, as long as you do the dishes."
They eat together in comfortable silence, sharing occasional bites and light laughter. But eventually, the mood grows heavier—they both know time is ticking.

Scene: Outside the Bus Station – Late Morning
Pedro parks just outside the Windhoek-bound bus station, his hand gripping Lisa's tightly as they sit in the car.
Pedro: quietly "I hate this part."
Lisa: turns to him, cupping his cheek "I'll be back soon. We'll make this work."
Pedro: kisses her forehead "I know. Just… I'll miss you like crazy."
He walks her to the bus, their hug long and lingering. Before she steps on, he pulls her into one last kiss—slow, deep, and full of unspoken promises.
Pedro: "Text me the moment you arrive, okay?"
Lisa: smiling through the bittersweet parting "Always."

Scene: Lisa's Home in Windhoek – Afternoon
The familiar scent of home greets Lisa as she unlocks the front door. She kicks off her shoes, drops her bag, and takes a moment to breathe. Then, pulling out her phone, she sends a quick message:
> "Just got home safe. Already miss you."
Pedro replies almost instantly:
> "Miss you more. Come back soon, my queen."
Lisa smiles, heart full, before moving around the house tidying up a bit—wiping counters, sorting laundry, and organizing her books.
Later, she sits at her study desk, flipping open her notebook and laptop. Schoolwork piles in front of her, but her mind keeps drifting back to Pedro—the warmth of his touch, his scent on her clothes.
She shakes her head with a grin and gets back to work, comforted by the thought that what they have is real, and worth every mile between them.
A flash back of Nicole on the day she left Pedro's apartment
Scene: Nicole's POV – Driving Away from Pedro's Apartment
Nicole slammed the car door shut with a force that rattled the window. Her jaw clenched as she yanked her sunglasses down over her eyes, teeth grinding as she sped off from Pedro's place.
Nicole (internal): "That bitch opened the door for me. She was there. In his shirt. In his space. Acting like she belongs. Hell no."
She tightened her grip on the wheel, nails digging into the leather, her heart pounding with a mix of rage and humiliation.
Nicole (muttering to herself): "Pedro is mine. He was always mine. I don't care how long I disappeared—he doesn't just move on. Not from me."
The silence in the car made her thoughts scream louder. Her mind replayed every second—Lisa's smug face, Pedro's fury, the way he spoke to her like she was nothing.
Nicole: "He thinks he's done with me? Just like that?"
She scoffed bitterly, speeding down the coastal road, the ocean breeze doing little to calm the fire burning in her chest. The minute she reached a quieter road, she hit speed dial.
Suzy: "Babe? What's up? You sound—"
Nicole (cutting in): "I swear to God, Suzy, if I ever see that girl again, I might snap. Pedro had the nerve to yell at me—in front of her!"
Suzy: "Wait—you went to his place?"
Nicole: "Of course I did! I wanted to remind him who I am. But he was too busy playing house with that little Windhoek nobody."
Suzy: "Oh damn… He really moved on, huh?"
Nicole: "He thinks he did. But let me tell you something—I didn't just let that man go. I left because I had to I had my reasons okay.
Suzy: "Girl, you don't owe anyone an explanation."
Nicole: "Exactly! And now that I'm back in Windhoek, I'm gonna fix this. I don't care what I have to do, Suzy. Pedro is mine. I gave that man the best parts of me, and now he's gonna pretend like I'm nothing?"
Suzy: "So what are you gonna do?"
Nicole smirked as she pulled into her apartment parking lot, shutting off the engine and grabbing her purse.
Nicole: "First, I find out everything about that girl. And then, I make her life a living hell. I'll break them from the inside. Pedro's going to remember what it felt like to need me. To miss me. And when I'm done… he won't even know why he ever looked at someone else."
Suzy: "Damn. Remind me not to piss you off."
Nicole: laughing darkly "Just stick with me, babe. It's about to get real messy."
She ended the call, stepping out of the car, her heels clicking against the pavement with purpose. Her smile was cold. Calculated.
Nicole (to herself): "If Lisa wants war… she just found the wrong ex to mess with."
Back to the current Nicole is in her one bedroom flat still thinking on how to get back Pedro and how she will take Lisa out if the way
