"Uhhh! I'm tired," Mark said as he stood up and looked through the glass door down the corridor that was half painted in blood, with guts all over the place, while beautiful snow was falling outside.
Alex walked up to Mark, touched his shoulder, and said, "We need to go to the gymnasium. My little sister was having physical class when everything went to shit."
Mark went to the door before he pushed it, letting huge amounts of snow get blasted into his face.
"Outside is as cold as hell," Mark said, allocating all nine status points to Health, and then stepped out with Alex following behind.
Dead bodies, smashed bodies, headless bodies, and plenty of skeletons—everything else they saw were those three things.
Rrrrrrrrrrrrr!
A growl next to Mark caused him to involuntarily swing his axe, striking the head of a zombie, hacking it clean off.
After walking for about ten minutes and eliminating any stray zombies that they came across along the way, they eventually reached the gymnasium. But just as they were ready to kick the door open, they saw a gold radiating light faintly illuminating on the building side, which easily drew Mark and Alex's attention.
They went toward the radiating light and saw a treasure chest. On seeing that, Mark went and touched it.

The treasure chest suddenly disappeared, and there was only the ring and the iron gauntlets left.
"Catch these," Mark said as he threw the gauntlets to Alex and took back the katana, then slipped the light blue mana ring onto his middle finger.
They slowly approached the door. Mark stood ready while Alex stepped up and started banging on it.
"Open this now, or I'll kick it down!" he shouted.
All of a sudden, Alex heard a click as the lock disengaged, and the door slowly creaked open.
There was a group of approximately a hundred people in the corner.
