Chapter 6 - Chapter 6, Blue Heart Sect (Please Recommend, Please Favorite)

However, the Red-eyed Bloodfiend Horse was extremely rare in the Cyan Yang Sect.

After leaving the green horse at the market below the Cyan Yang Mountain Range, Chu Ming headed into the Cyan Yang Mountain Range, where the trees were lush, blocking the view.

As soon as he entered the Cyan Yang Mountain Range, Chu Ming immediately raised his alertness to the peak. The Cyan Yang Mountain Range was full of fugitives, with little carelessness possibly leading to death. Even the strongest of the True Dao would tread carefully here.

"Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf, a Second Level Middle Tier Demon Beast, extremely fast, strong physique, its fur might sell for two thousand pieces of silver."

A giant wolf with blue and red interwoven fur slowly walked in the forest, oblivious to the approaching danger.

The Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf, also called the "Jungle Hunter," even a typical Postnatal Eighth Layer martial artist would flee in panic upon encountering it. Perhaps only a Postnatal Ninth Layer martial artist could subdue it.

In fact, the strength of a Demon Beast cannot always be measured by its level. The bloodline can also determine its strength. Levels are like hardware, while bloodline is akin to software.

A Demon Beast with a high bloodline can completely fight across levels. It is said that in the mysterious Central Divine Domain, ancient remnants can be born to battle Guiyuan Realm experts. Upon reaching adulthood, even Life and Death Realm kings would avoid them.

Chu Ming pulled back his Refined Iron Sword, his eyes narrowed, and at the moment when the Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf lowered its head, he swiftly punched, his momentum like a dragon, with golden light emanating.

"Fist-Determined Kingdom!"

A sound of breaking through the air echoed. The Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf, with its sensitive nerves, instantly raised its head, seeing a dazzling golden light.

Boom!

A thunderous sound erupted, and Chu Ming retreated three steps in succession, shaking his hand. The hide of the Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf was tough. Even the Perfection Realm's Fist-Determined Kingdom could only knock it flying.

The Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf spun around, stood up, shook off the dust on its body, and its eyes glowed fiercely.

Swish!

The Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf's eyes narrowed, transforming into a blue and red phantom, rushing towards Chu Ming with a sound of breaking the air.

"Tyrant Fist of Four Directions!"

A roaring voice emerged from Chu Ming's mouth. His fist shone with golden lines as if cast from gold, the golden light flowing like a War God.

Boom!

Crack!

Chu Ming felt pain in his arm, but he endured and didn't retreat. Instead, a sound of bone cracking came from the Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf's waist. It whimpered in pain, and before it could stand, it collapsed.

Swish!

Seizing the moment, Chu Ming's body blurred and he threw a punch at the Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf's head. A cracking sound and the wolf died, bleeding from all its orifices.

"Using Tyrant Fist of Four Directions, my attack is close to the middle stage of Postnatal Eighth Layer, quite strong." Chu Ming took out a small knife, skinned the Ice Rain Frenzied Wolf, put the fur in a snakeskin bag, cut some meat to dry, and then left.

...

"Junior Brother Ma, attack its right leg." A charming voice called out not far away. Chu Ming perked up, hiding in a big tree while observing the scene below.

He had been in the Cyan Yang Mountain Range for three days, with quite a harvest, ready to return to the market at the foot of the mountain to sell his materials and exchange for cultivation resources.

Unexpectedly, he had come across such an incident on his way back.

In his line of sight, four young men and women were besieging a giant Sword Red Tiger together. Seeing their attire, Chu Ming was stunned. Their white outfits with a blue Ice Spirit Grass indicated they were Inner Sect disciples of the Blue Heart Sect.

The Blue Heart Sect was no match for the Cyan Yang Sect, which was one of the Five Great Sects of the Great Yan Kingdom. The Blue Heart Sect was just a small sect nearby, with only hundreds of members, not in the same league as the Cyan Yang Sect.

To become an Inner Sect disciple of the Cyan Yang Sect, one needed Transcendence Realm cultivation or to reach the top ten in the Wooden Man Alley. In contrast, the Blue Heart Sect only required a Postnatal Eighth Layer cultivation, and the two sects' cultivation techniques and martial skills were not of the same level.

From their attacks, it appeared the leading man was in the late stage of Postnatal Eighth Layer, the two female disciples were in the middle stage, while the last man was in the early stage.

The charming voice earlier belonged to the attractive woman in red gear, while Junior Brother Ma was the man in the early stage of Postnatal Eighth Layer.

The man looked panicked, showing little experience in combat. But his Refined Iron Sword stab at the Sword Red Tiger's right leg was precise.

Puff!

A stream of blood spurted out, and they dodged. The Sword Red Tiger went berserk, a flicker of faint red light on its body, speeding up and directly attacking the man in black.

Crack!

Puff!

The man's arm was deformed by the impact, he spat blood, and his eyes showed a trace of seriousness as he loudly shouted, "Retreat!"

Swish! Swish! Swish!

In a few flashes, the four distanced themselves from the Sword Red Tiger, hurriedly taking a few Spirit Revival Elixirs to restore their spiritual power, and watched the Sword Red Tiger cautiously.

The Sword Red Tiger glanced at them, then slowly crawled back into its cave without finishing them off, as if guarding something.

"Senior Brother Li, what should we do? We can't defeat it." Another woman in blue gear spoke, a trace of unwillingness in her eyes.

"We could go back for help, but what if someone else picks the Seven-Star Grass before us?" Junior Brother Ma worriedly said. The rest thought it made sense; losing the Seven-Star Grass because of leaving would be a huge loss.

All of them looked troubled.

"Seven-Star Grass?" Chu Ming's heart skipped a beat on the tree. Seven-Star Grass, a Third Level magic herb, sold for thirty to forty thousand pieces of silver each.

One Seven-Star Grass could help a Postnatal martial artist break through one layer, though it could only be used once in life.

Swish!

Chu Ming moved and jumped down from the tree. The commotion made the Blue Heart Sect's four disciples turn and warily look at Chu Ming.

"There's Seven-Star Grass in that cave?" Chu Ming asked indifferently. Seeing Chu Ming's Cyan Yang Sect outer disciple uniform, the Blue Heart Sect disciples sighed in relief. The Blue Heart Sect's founder had been an inner disciple of the Cyan Yang Sect, so the two sects had good relations.

"There are three Seven-Star Grass in there, but the Sword Red Tiger guards them, and we four can't defeat it." Junior Brother Ma explained, not hiding anything as they saw Chu Ming was only a Postnatal Seventh Layer martial artist, whom they could handle if necessary.

"Count me in!" Chu Ming's eyes lit up. With the Seven-Star Grass, he could break through another level.

"You?" Junior Brother Ma hesitated, looking at the others. They couldn't defeat the tiger, and adding a Seventh Layer martial artist might worsen their chances. He pondered.

Chu Ming understood his concerns and shouted, "Watch my fist." His right fist turned golden, executing Tyrant Fist. He didn't use Rainfall Swordsmanship to keep his trump card.

"Good!" Junior Brother Ma shouted, and his Refined Iron Sword slashed down like a white cloud towards Chu Ming.

Puff!

Clang!

The collision sounded like clashing metals. Chu Ming stood still, his clothes fluttering, while Junior Brother Ma retreated five to six steps, eyes wide with astonishment.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

A round of applause came from the leading man in black, "Good, with you, we might handle the Sword Red Tiger. We'll split the Seven-Star Grass among five people." The man spoke.

Chu Ming nodded as the golden glow on his hand faded.

"Let me introduce us. I am Zhou Qing, this is my Junior Brother Ma Fei, and my two Junior Sisters Zhang Mei and Zhang Lan." Zhou Qing introduced them. The woman in red was Zhang Mei, the woman in blue was Zhang Lan, and the man in black was Ma Fei.

"I'm Chu Ming," Chu Ming introduced himself calmly. Zhou Qing glanced at the Refined Iron Sword at Chu Ming's waist, thinking.

"Chu Ming, do all Cyan Yang Sect outer disciples challenge levels?" Zhang Mei immediately asked, curious as a baby.

"Junior Sister, we have urgent matters with the Seven-Star Grass." Zhou Qing helplessly scolded, and Zhang Mei quickly shut her mouth.

They walked together to the cave entrance of the Sword Red Tiger. Zhou Qing took out a red incense stick from his chest, emitting a strange scent into the cave.

Scent of the Dragon: an incense made from blood cat fur, whose aroma is irresistible to Demon Beasts.

"Roar, roar, roar..."

Momentarily, the tiger roars echoed from the cave, the ground shook, and trees swayed.

Boom!

The Sword Red Tiger emerged, spotting Zhou Qing and the others. Its eyes flared with rage, and it immediately pounced at Ma Fei, the weakest.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The group surrounded it. Ma Fei dodged the incoming tiger paw, and at that moment, Zhou Qing's Refined Iron Sword slashed a thin, breeze-like arc.

"Gentle Breeze!"

Crack!

Puff!

The Refined Iron Sword left a shallow blood mark on the tiger's paw, barely noticeable, showing its extreme defense.

Boom!

The tiger's other paw struck Zhang Mei. She was less powerful and was knocked back, spitting blood.

Chu Ming replaced Zhang Mei with a roar. His fists turned golden like two small suns, shining fiercely.

"Fist-Determined Kingdom!"
