Chapter 21 - Easy Mission

Six reincarnators, five died. Whether men or women, beautiful or ugly, the treatment was the same—fail the test, and you die.

In life-or-death situations like these, no one would waste time on something like rape. Time was precious, and hesitation meant death.

Being inside the game versus watching from the sidelines were two completely different experiences.

When Cain finished his "business" and returned to the surveillance room, Jigsaw had just stood up. "A pity. Not a single one made it out alive. You're a cop—what are you going to do about it?"

"I'll pretend I saw nothing. Has anyone reported it? Only someone with deep pockets could pull this off. The average person wouldn't dare—just setting up the venue would be a nightmare. I've seen the game. Do you know why I didn't arrest you? Do you know why I just fucked Amanda within an inch of her life?"

Cain lit a cigarette and asked the critical question.

Jigsaw perked up, crossing his arms with interest.

"Oh? And what's the reason?"

"Because your games always have an exit. Follow your rules, and you survive. Paying a price is just part of the deal. I hope you stick to your principles—punish those who disrespect life, punish those who escape justice. If the law can't touch them, you will."

"As for Amanda? Heh. Her games only have dead ends. Even if someone passes, she'll still kill them. I can… correct Amanda, pull her out of her drug addiction. There's still hope for her. But Hoffman? I can't save him. Maybe you can."

Cain shrugged, his expression resigned.

Jigsaw nodded. "The door's over there. Don't let me keep you."

Cain glanced one last time at the screens, where the six reincarnators had met gruesome ends—burned alive, stabbed in the back, impaled by traps.

When the antidote was scarce but the players plentiful, killing was the only option.

The last boy standing was likely Detective Mark's son. Everything had been recorded. The next show was about to begin.

Ding.

"You have successfully completed the movie Saw II. Reward: 1000 points. Reward: One free purchase from the Special Store. Vacation time: 7 days. Re-entry into the cycle after 7 days. Complete five story worlds to unlock the job change quest. You may choose to return to the main world now or delay return for 24 hours."

"Delay return." Cain didn't hesitate. There were still loose ends to tie up.

Truthfully, Saw was one of the worst worlds for rewards. What was there to gain? Learning torture techniques? Pointless.

At best, this was just a tutorial mission—a taste of the reincarnation cycle. Cain could accept that. And the "Land of the Lingering Dead" mentioned in the mission? That must be the so-called "Main God Space."

Leaving the factory, Cain returned to Betsy's home.

Flirting with Jigsaw's wife, treating the deadly games as a joke—none of it mattered.

With enough strength and regeneration, Jigsaw's traps were only lethal to ordinary people.

Betsy, starved for affection, doted on Cain, cooking whatever he desired.

And Cain didn't disappoint, ravaging the mature woman with relentless vigor.

He even called Amanda over for a threesome. Once they'd experienced him, neither could refuse.

Betsy knew about Amanda—her ex-husband's apprentice.

Jigsaw had a cult, the "Saw Brotherhood." How many disciples he had, she didn't know, but she was sure others were learning his methods—using games to teach and punish.

Amanda, once a drug addict, had tried Cain's "treatment." Even if it was rape, she accepted it.

And if Jigsaw said nothing, that meant tacit approval.

The deeper meaning? That was for her to figure out.

"I'll be away for a while. Behave. Especially you, Amanda. If the cravings hit, use this." Cain tossed her a gift box containing a dildo.

Amanda scoffed. "I won't lose control. When will you be back?"

"Don't know. Depends." Cain shrugged, left arm around Amanda, right around Jigsaw's wife.

Fucking a serial killer's wife and apprentice? Damn, it felt good.

With the Dual Cultivation technique supporting him, Cain spent the next several hours experimenting—imparting the basics to Amanda and Betsy. Both seemed to grasp the Level 1 technique.

If this worked, he could teach Jill too. Dual cultivation would be even wilder.

Amanda and Betsy, now addicted to pleasure, shed their inhibitions, matching Cain's ferocity with wild abandon.

One a voluptuous MILF, the other a former addict with a rebellious streak—each offered a unique flavor.

Soon, time was up. Cain returned to a glowing screen.

The screen replayed the death games—people crushed, burned, sliced, shot. Even the six reincarnators hadn't escaped.

Watching them die, Cain felt a twinge of guilt. But it faded quickly.

If they hadn't died, he would have.

In kill-or-be-killed scenarios, sentimentality was a luxury. He'd get used to it.

The replay sped through two hours in five minutes, reinforcing the memories.

Then, the reward summary:

"Ding. Settlement complete. Identity: Special Reincarnator. Reward: 1000 points (non-tradable). One free purchase from the Special Store."

Cain was slightly annoyed. If points couldn't buy anything, what was the point? But the Special Store quickly caught his attention.

- Cloud-Rain Dual Cultivation Technique: The emperor's secret art. Legend says the Yellow Emperor ascended after bedding 3,000 women using this method. Makes women dependent on the user—once taken, they can't be entered by other men. Increases fertility, guarantees female offspring. Can teach partners, but advancement is limited.

- Super-Soldier Serum: Steve Rogers' formula. How badass you become is up to you.

- Elite Special Ops Gear: Boosts speed, attack power, immunity to bullets from rifles, pistols, shotguns.

Each was tempting. The technique promised long-term gains. The serum offered immediate power. The gear ensured survival.

A tough choice. But in the end, survival came first.

Cain made his decision.
