Chapter 117 - Chapter 117 – Sales Order Announcement (Part 1)

Liu Zihao was on a high.

"Brother Feng! You gotta help me out. We've got so many orders, we need more cars!"

"Eight per store isn't enough! Just give me another 2,000 units—I'll move them fast!"

Haifeng almost laughed out of anger.

"You think these cars grow on trees?"

"Even cabbages take time to grow, and you're out here asking for two thousand like it's nothing?"

"My entire inventory doesn't even add up to that."

"If I give everything to you, what about the other dealers?

You're not that big, but your appetite sure is."

He shook his head.

"Get lost! You're not getting a single extra car."

"Wait for the factory allocation like everyone else. Go cool off somewhere."

But Zihao refused to give up.

"Okay, okay—maybe not two thousand. But at least a few hundred, right?"

"Come on, Brother Feng. Help a brother out."

Haifeng snapped:

"I already gave you eighty cars per store. You've got twenty stores—that's 1,600 cars."

"You're not satisfied with that?"

"Young man, you need to learn how to be content."

Zihao whined some more.

"Just a little more? Please?"

"No!" Haifeng barked. "I said no. That's final."

"If I give you more, all the other dealers will show up crying, too.

Then what? I'll spend my whole life entertaining your pity parties."

Without waiting for another reply, Haifeng hung up.

He sighed.

This guy's too naive.

Daily production is limited. I can't favor him just because we're friends.

Even his store hasn't gotten any new cars this month—we gave everything to the dealers.

It would already be solid if Zihao could get five or six thousand cars a month at this stage.

Haifeng never minded others making money.

The more the dealers earn, the more I earn too.

And sure, it looked like the dealers were making more up front…

But that didn't account for:

Showroom construction

Employee salaries

Sales commissions

Marketing

Local taxes

Maintenance

Once you added that up?

The real profit wasn't all that huge.

Meanwhile, Haifeng's end was cleaner:

R&D, production, and salaries.

And the deliveries?

They'd take time.

This wasn't money you could pocket overnight.

Across the Country: The Fallout Begins

While Audi Motors and its dealers were celebrating…

The rest of the industry was in crisis.

At the Shenzhen Futian Auto Industrial Park, dozens of 4S stores from top brands were gathered…

It was a graveyard.

At the local BMW 4S store, the sales floor was nearly empty.

The sales manager looked around anxiously.

"Xiao Zhang, didn't you say three customers were coming to see the B250 today?

Where are they?"

"Xiao Zhao, weren't you following up with someone? Call them!"

But the staff looked helpless.

One consultant said it bluntly:

"Manager, they all went to check out the Audi A4."

"I tried calling—no one picks up."

Another added:

"Not gonna lie, Audi's domestic. It's a source of pride.

That alone makes people support it."

"And honestly? If I had the money, I'd buy the Audi too."

The room fell quiet.

"Compared to Audi, our cars are overpriced and underwhelming."

"No turbo, no breakthrough tech, and way too expensive."

"What do we even have going for us?"

The manager finally cut in:

"Alright, enough. I like Audi too, okay?"

"But we work for BMW. Everyone's just trying to make a living."

"Now get back to work and follow up with your leads."

But even he knew:

The market had changed.

The Audi A4 wasn't just competing—it was crushing.

Nationwide, B-class luxury cars were getting wrecked.

A single model had thrown the entire segment into a tailspin.

And the ripple effect?

Just getting started.
