Chapter 107 - Chapter 107 – King of the Riftflame (Continued)

The throne room fell silent once more, though now it was a silence of contemplation. Solian leaned at the far end of the great stone table, his hand on the edge of the stone, the weight of the System's blessings and his new responsibilities crushing him.

The frigid air of the broken palace seemed to wrap around him, but his own mind raged with the fervor of advancement. He had battled for this power, this realm—but now, he was to utilize it. His eyes were still fixed on the System interface that lay before him, the 25 System Points that he had accumulated pulsing in the corner of his eye.

25 points…

His fingers fluttered, itching to assign them, to become even stronger, to solidify his reign as King of the Riftflame. But there was no rush. He had learned, over time, the value of patience. Power wasn't just a function of how many points you had—it was a function of how you used them, how you grew.

Solian closed his eyes, lying back in the throne and letting the warmth of the sun soothe his face. He felt the pulse of energy inside him, the remaining power from his battle with Donquixote Doflamingo. The King of Dressrosa had died, but the kingdom was his. But to rule it justly, to cement his reign, he needs to grow.

The Summoning Ticket (S-Rank) lay at the periphery of his line of sight, tempting him with the promise of a partner. His Solar Armament – Ember Wrath ability was still fresh in his memory, the flames that combined his Devil Fruit power with the strength of Haki. His strength was growing, but it was still not enough.

His gaze fell to his stats.

Solian Flare – System Status

Devil Fruit Mastery: 57%

Devil Fruit Points: 33

Constitution: 22

Strength: 19

Agility: 25

Endurance: 21

Haki: 15 (+5)

System Points: 25

The numbers were measurable, tangible indicators of how far he'd come—and how much farther he still had to go.

His Devil Fruit Mastery was excellent, but not yet at optimum. In order to make best use of the strength of his Solar Rift Flames, he needed to be more masterful. Devil Fruit Points—those precious qualities that enhanced his powers—were already excellent, but he could picture possibilities for even better displays of strength and mastery over the riftflames.

What's next?

He had learned more from his Grand Line experiences, from battling Doflamingo, and from carrying the burden of the System itself. He understood that strength was not in terms of brute force, but in preparation. Having the right combination of physical ability, mental toughness, and control over his Devil Fruit would be what would set him apart.

But first, Solian knew he needed to get ready. He had to find out what to strengthen first.

Internal Debate:

Then he read through his Constitution. The quantity of bodily endurance which he had possessed had already borne fruit in combat. His endurance had carried him through moments when other fighters would have collapsed. There was always a need to become stronger, though. A strengthened body would enable him to be stronger against greater evils, greater hardships.

Then he thought on Strength. The power of his blows, the power to kill his foes with strength—that was one thing he could not disregard. But Solian knew that strength would not fight battles by itself. It would surely make him a great fighter, but it was his Agility that had served him best till date. Agility, the skill to attack and avoid with precision, had saved him from far greater enemies. But with his current pace, there was still some room for improvement.

He needed to balance his power, speed, and durability. But it wasn't merely about balance—it was about development.

The Decision:

He had been quiet for several minutes now, his thoughts in reflection. The weight of his responsibilities as king was not something he had ever come to terms with until now. The King of the Riftflame title burned at the back of his head, reminding him of what he had achieved—and what he still had to overcome.

His fingers lingered above the System Points.

First, Mastery of Devil Fruit. He couldn't afford to slack off with his power. The more he could push his flames to their extremes, the better control he'd have. The Solar Rift powers were expanding, and with greater mastery, Solian could open up even more devastating techniques.

Then, Constitution. He would not be able to rely on his flames alone to back him up. A stronger body would ensure he would be able to pass the trials that awaited him, especially with challenges that would definitely arise as the new Dressrosa king.

And lastly, Strength and Agility. The two to complement each other. Strength for raw offensive power. Agility for quickness he needed in combat. If Solian could bring these two talents even further ahead, his battle style would be a perfect balance of power and finesse.

With one final breath, Solian made up his mind.

The Allocation

His initial priority was clear: Devil Fruit Mastery. He allocated 5 System Points to this. The more he mastered his control over the Solar Rift Flames, the more lethal he'd become to his enemies. 62% mastery would open up new avenues for his skills, and he could already sense the heat of the flames rising.

And then he glanced at Devil Fruit Points. 5 System Points here in total would also make his flames even more powerful, with more destructive ability and versatility. More lethal heat. More powerful blows.

For Constitution, he also awarded him 5 System Points too. At Constitution level 27, Solian would have harder, longer-lasting battles and faster heals. The strain of ruling, the weight of responsibility—he would need that kind of strength.

Strength came next, a figure he could never live without. 5 System Points were spent on increasing this, bringing his offensive potential to 24. A king's power was not just in his mind, but also in the strength of his body.

His Agility was already impressive, but Solian knew that in his world, speed was paramount. 3 System Points to agility would make him even faster, raising his stat to 28.

Finally, Endurance—the stat that enabled him to continue fighting regardless of how fierce the battle—was awarded 2 System Points. Now, at 23 Endurance, he could fight longer, heal faster, and maintain his strength during prolonged battles.

Updated Stats:

Solian Flare – System Status

Devil Fruit Mastery: 62%

Devil Fruit Points: 38

Constitution: 27

Strength: 24

Agility: 28

Endurance: 23

Haki: 20 (+5)

System Points: 0

Solian relaxed into the throne, a wave of satisfaction washing over him. His form was stronger, more in tune with the power that coursed through him. He could already feel the consequences of his choices—the heat of his flames growing stronger, his form more resilient, his movements quicker and sharper.

But he knew that this was merely the beginning.

The King of the Riftflame was no longer just a title. It was a burden, a weight Solian would carry proudly and with force.

He stood, the sense of dominion over his own strength and the world about him more defined.

The world would not be idle as he struck. But Solian was not going to play games. He would engage the world, build his kingdom by the blaze of his flames, and seize the throne that was rightfully his.

Dressrosa was brought down. But the Riftflame Empire was beginning to rise.
