I swear I heard him chuckle as he stepped out.
Not long after he left, the door creaked open again.
Another guy walked in. Sidekick. Pretty boy. Glare loaded.
"Um, I'm sorry, who are you?" he asked, voice all attitude and suspicion.
I stared. "Can't you read the room? I'm his new bodyguard."
