Logan violently pushed Hannah, making her fall robustly on the couch once Scarlett has gone. Hannah gasped in shock wincing in pain.
She stared at Logan with shock on her face.
She couldn't believe what he just did; one moment, he was hugging her by her waist and defending her and now he pushed her.
Why? ! She managed to ask.
Logan face was blank as he stared at her.
Why what? He asked with a blank tone, emotionless.
Why did you defend me ? Is she not saying the truth? She asked.
Get one thing straight, Hannah. He said, you are a contracted wife and haven't I warned you not to interfere in my personal life? He said in a low deep voice that sent chills down her spine.
Hannah bit her bottom lip. She knew it will be hard to get answers from tgsi stoic man.
You said it to me this morning too, that I'm a contracted wife, but it does look like it cause you were forced by your grandpa to marry me. Hannah said honestly and carefully.
Logan stared at her and scoffed throatily.
You think I accepted the proposal cause of my grandpa? ! Then, sorry to say this, you are DUMB. He said with a faint smile on his face.
Hannah felt hurt by his words but she managed to hold it in. Soon, she will escape this house. She thought to herself.
Then why did you accept the marriage proposal when you already have .....she paused her sky blue eyes staring at him.
"A girlfriend? !" He completed her words for her.
Hannah didn't say anything and looked away.
Do you really want to know why I accepted to marry a low life like you? He asked with an intimidating gaze.
Hannah gulped nervously her heart beating wildly in nervousness. Oh no, he was about to say the reason why he married her. She didn't even realize she was holding her breath until Logan spoke again in a ice tone,
"I want to hurt your uncle and his family".
Hannah body stiffened at his words. So her intuition was right. Her uncle and aunt have sold her and signed a marriage contract with Logan. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes as she couldn't believe it.
"Do you think I will just marry a random girl my grandpa choose without finding out about her background? ! No way". He said sharply.
Why do you want to hurt my family? She asked as a single tear rolled down her cheeks.
The day my grandpa invite your uncle and aunt to come so he could offer The marriage proposal. I saw your aunt that day at the Emersons mansion, so I took her to my car to talk to her. He said remembering the day he had offer Hannah's family a tempting and exciting deal.
"I presumed you have read the marriage proposal my grandpa offered you and your husband. Logan spoke in a calm tone.
Y..es! Aunt Mary said calmly. Her heart racing faster in her chest. She was awed to see the famous and well known billionaire CEO known for his heartless nature and for killing people mercilessly, she couldn't believe it herself, and not only was she seeing him, she was sitting in his car and having a conversation with him,but who would have thought, that her mere sitting in his car and talking to him will result into something unexpected.
My grandpa has promised to pay you forty million dollars if you allow one of your daughters to marry me right? He smirked and the woman foolishly nodded not knowing where he is getting at.
Good. How about I give you two billion dollars if you sign this contract? He smirked devilishly.
Upon hearing the amount of money offered to her, she gulped hard.
I.... But knowing how heartless and cunning the man can be, she spoke,.I will have to discuss it with my husband first and get back to you. She said calmly.
Take your time. He smiled coldly and the woman felt chills ran down her spine.
The woman got down from the car and saw her husband approaching her.
Dear, it's as if God has answered our prayers. Mr Griffin had said that day.
Uhm, I saw the billionaire our daughter will be marrying. He said I should sign a contract to hand over one of our daughters to him, and he offer us two billion dollars. Aunt Mary said calmly her heart pounding in her chest.
Me Griffin was shocked upon hearing the news.
What type of contract? He asked.
As if paying attention to them, Logan came out From the car.
It's a business contract. He replied nonchalantly.
Business contract? For? Aunt Mary asked worriedly. The grandpa had offered them a marriage proposal to form an anlliance nce with them even though they are poor, yet his grandson wants to do a contract marriage? This isn't adding up. She thought.
I think you both are not understanding this at all.
Let me break it down for you both, my grandpa wants me to have a wife, but I'm not interested in loving or marrying, but I will only marry her under a contract marriage. So basically the marriage that will happen between me and her will be a contractual marriage. While to my grandpa, it will be normal marriage he has always wished for. Logan explained swiftly and Mr and Mrs Griffin froze upon hearing his plan.
So are you ready so I can give you the two billion dollars? He asked.
Can I tell my daughter?? Mr Griffin asked.
No. Only tell her about my grandfather's own. Logan said coldly and entered his car only to bring out a document..

Note, once you sigh this paper, you are not only giving her to me, but you won't have anything to do with her again. The only time you will see her is on the day of the wedding. Logan said with an emotionless tone.
How about the money? Mr Griffin asked.
I will let you both know when I will give you the money. He said and Aunt Mary quickly sign the papers.
After signing it, they left. "
Logan smiled remembering how he had manipulated Hannah's family so he could marry Hannah and seek revenge. He explained and Hannah felt the rush of tears bursted from her eyelids as uncontrollably tears streamed down her cheeks like heavy rainfall.
She was so shocked to her bones at what Logan told her.
How could you blackmail my aunt and uncle just because you wanted us to have a contract marriage? She cried softly. But Logan was unfazed by her tears.
Clean your tears, it's irritating. He said harshly and Hannah shook her head in pain and disbelief at what Logan had revealed to her. How could he do this to her and her family?
Well, since your aunt signed the contract, you are mine. He said possessively and Hannah tears rolled down her cheeks like a broken dam.
You are not only mine, but you are also a contracted wife to both of us. So keep that in mind, and you are a normal wife to my G. R. A. N. D. P. A. He stressed the grandpa part a little longer.
Hannah cleaned her tears and asked, did you also marry me to seek revenge on her? She managed to ask even though her chest felt heavy with pain.
Logan stared at her for a long while before saying the word,
"Yes!"
Hannah didn't comment on what he said and stood up, I'm tired. I will go and sleep. She said to him but Logan didn't respond to her.
