Still feeling the overwhelming sensation of Greed, he still continued to walk to the kitchen.
As if nothing had happened.
Elias forces himself to move. One step. Then another. The system message lingers in his mind but he tries to ignore it.
As he walks through the house, something feels off.
He feels dizzy, his surroundings feel distant from him.
The floorboards creak louder than usual and the hallway seems… longer.
No. Thats impossible. Its just my mind playing tricks on me.
Every step he takes, an unsettling feeling gnaws at him.
Like he's being watched.
He glances over his shoulder. Nothing.
Then a new system notification appears
[Your hunger is growing]
His breath catches in his throat.
And for the first time since waking up, he realizes. He's starving, but not for food.
He tries to ignore this sensation throughout his path and finally reaches the kitchen.
Selene greets him though mathilda is not to be seen.
Where is mathilda?
He asks.
"She went to the academy, today was the academies welcoming ceremony for new students, she went to welcome the new students."
Why are you not going there? Aren't you a teacher there.
"To take care of you."
She said in a calm voice.
What do you mean by that..?
Elias was dumbfounded at what she said.
What could she have possibly meant to take care of me?
Your awakening nightmare, every awakeners have it.
She said with a cold chilling voice
When Elias heard that he looked horrified, how did she know Elias had the nightmare?
"I know what happened in your nightmare."
You achieved a Name Of Echo in the nightmare, tell me what it was.
Elias looked at Selene, devastated. How did she know all this?
Elias couldn't refuse Selene's commands because in his defense, Selene was too beautiful to reject.
He was lost at words.
My Name Of Echo is…..
Suddenly, before he could finish his sentence. His surroundings shroud into darkness.
The darkness turns into light and now he is in a blank white space.
Nothing around him besides a man.
A man before him, he was wearing a scarf and a bland black coat.
His face was similiar to Elias's face but it looked much more deranged.
The man looked as if Elias reached a new state of insanity.
What was unsettling the most was his smile, he was smiling as he stared at Elias.
Elias tried saying something but nothing came out of his mouth.
The prescence of this world was keeping his mouth shut almost as if its warning him not to talk to the man.
After a moment of silence the man talked, he sounded bizarre.
He had a croaked voice almost as if he was dying.
"You shall not tell anyone your Name Of Echo."
He says with a cold stare at me.
His smile weakened after he said that.
Before I or he was able to say something again the space before me was gone and I was laying down. On someones lap.
Elias instantly sat up and found out he passed out on Selene's lap.
He seemed flustered after waking up on Selene's lap, it was definetely better than mathilda's lap
Her thighs feel good.
"What did you dream about?"
Selene asked.
"Your thighs."
Elias said not knowing what the heck he just said.
Why did I say that? What the heck its not even true!
Selene looked at Elias with a disgusted expression on her face.
Sorry Elias, Im too old for you.
Well age doesnt really matter now does it? Elias thought.
but right after he thought of that he speaked the exact same thing even if he didnt want to.
"Well Miss Selene, age doesnt really matter now does it?"
Elias was dumbfounded, why is he just speaking his mind?
Selene sighs.
Is this what your thinking of Elias? It flatters me but you shouldnt be thinking of stuff like this after facing The Erebus in your nightmare.
What..?
How does she know of The Erebus.
After the name was mentioned Elias had a sudden panic attack.
He fell on his knees and he was struggling to breathe.
Even if it was just a dream. Only meeting an ancient titan can give you trauma.
Like it did to Elias.
At the time Elias did not care about death due to him losing all his senses but right when he woke up he gained all his senses back again.
So now he is just a normal human reacting to his trauma.
Elias clutched his chest, his breathing was inconsistent. His vision swam, the kitchen around him distorting as if reality itself was bending.
His body remembered the fear before his mind could suppress it.
The Erebus.
Its colossal presence still loomed in his subconscious, an inescapeable nightmare bleeding into reality.
Selene knelt beside him, watching with unreadable eyes. He could feel her gaze piercing.
"You saw it." She murmured.
Elias didn't answer. He couldn't.
A glass of water was pressed into his hands. His fingers trembled.
"You're reacting exactly like an awakener who's seen something they shouldn't have," she said more to herself then to him.
"The Erebus…. No normal nightmare should've shown you that."
Elias was slowly losing his mind. How does she know?
His thoughts were spiraling, but something was wrong.
His own body. His own mouth
It wasn't entirely under his control.
The words he had spoken earlier, Selene's amazing thighs, had slipped from his lips without his intent.
Almost like something was forcing him to be honest.
His thoughts froze.
His system had malfunctioned.
A new notification flickered into existence before his eyes.
[Your hunger is growing.]
[Your mind is adjusting.]
[Your soul is... unstable.]
Selene leaned closer to Elias, her hot breath basically caressing him.
"Elias… Your soul, your fate is unstable."
