Chapter 100 - Chapter 55.

Secret plans. Bombers.

In more than seven hours, Zavirdyaev had time to get bored. The artificial intelligence turned out to be not so simple and every now and then told Zavirdyaev that this or that information was closed to it, and a couple of times it even responded quite rudely.

 - She had to teach the AI this?! - Zavirdyaev thought angrily, snapping back.

Landskricht, who had initially settled into a seat in such a pose as if she wanted to portray a princess sleeping in a coffin, was now dangling with her arms thrown somewhere above her head and her mouth slightly open.

A couple of times she made some kind of whistling sound, as if she was trying to portray a snake - Zavirdyaev had never seen anyone do that before. Finally, at the beginning of the eighth hour of her sleep, she began to gradually come to life, that is, wake up.

 - Good morning! How did you sleep? - Zavirdyaev responded to what was happening.

 - Thank you, good. How are you feeling?

 - And what should happen to me?

 - Well, for the first time in zero gravity. Also we had removed the chip.

 - Seems normal. Do you know what I found? An attack is planned on Superfederant. Not by OMSDON units, but in earnest. The document said so, but it didn't say what with. Now I know that they took five bombers off the front and reprogrammed the interlink. It wasn't Lebedev - or rather Lebedev, but Oppenheimer gave him a gift in the form of bombers and cover.

 - Oh, I know about that, - Landskricht answered, yawning. - They're planning to arrange a demonstrative bloodletting. In such cases, everyone's hands are usually itching - from the command to the executors - you can't really have fun at the front - there are enemy aircraft, then air defense, and here it's like in a propaganda film. We will thwart the attack, you can be sure of that. Interlink is now one big scam.

 - They won't get far with that.

 - How simple everything is for you.

 - I didn't even expect such a thing from you... That it bothered you, that you care.

 - Sometimes you say things like I'm complete shit.

 - Well, in general, you were trained to become a good piece of shit, and you passed the final tests.

 - Thanks for the compliment.

 - You're welcome. In an hour and a half, we'll approach Earth and begin maneuvering. You've already maneuvered and know how it is.

 - Warheads are following? Your AI refused to tell me anything about them. It also showed me a video quote from the film, like, fuck off, it's none of your business. You have a good AI.

 - This is so that you have a more comfortable environment from the natural process of communication, - Landskricht answered calmly, reaching for her dashboard and displays.

 - Okay, these are minor details, - continued Zavirdyaev. - Also, your artificial intelligence has completely taken over my communication with my movement, with the super-federalists. I have nothing to complain about here except that everything looks somewhat surreal - I mean such complete automation. - You are right about that. It is good that there is no need to fake your image on video, but you can get by with text. I understand that at first you were counting on some historical role for yourself, but then everything turned into a farce. I do not mean my activities, but I mean this revolution of yours. It has turned into a farce. This happens, and not only with you. At least you were provided with this machine, the shuttle. Oh, by the way, on Earth they are now absolutely sure that something is wrong with you. They are not worried about it. Now they are more interested in sorting out what has happened over the past couple of days.
