It'd been three days since Zeeland brought me to his kingdom and three days since he pulled the mate whole shit with me. Truth to his word, I had Michael as a bodyguard and trust me he was a nagging freak.
I won't deny that I loved all the attention I received from the maids and everyone in the kingdom. Everywhere I went to, someone if not one then two would recognize me and immediately show respect.
In as much as I enjoyed it, I was sick of it. What would the reaction of the council of six Jayden mentioned to me when we were together by the window, say if they find out we weren't true mates?
Even though Zeeland was a vampire, at least there should be one sign I would see if he truly was my mate. What would the council of six say if they found out about the contract that binded the both of us?
