hey am Amelia George daughter of MR&MRS George lost my dad on my 16th year birthday, after the death of my dad my mom and I relocated to start a new life.
a month after we relocated to Florida my mother enrolled me into Terri's high school a popular school in town and it was said to be one of the best schools.
it was difficult making new friends but I guess I have to try, 2 weeks after I was enrolled I made new friends Emily, Brenda and Christy we weren't just friends but we're like sisters and trust me they were the best choice I made.
Terri's high school

Emily: hey what's up lia
Amelia: am cool
Emily: you look bothered (she said staring at me in the eyes )
Amelia: trust me okay am good (I said trying to convince her)
Emily : let's go grab lunch together (she said with concern over her face )
Amelia: sure (I replied )
we both went to grab lunch and after lunch we headed to the classroom .
Brenda: hey girls (she called out to us)
Amelia: hey what's up with you (I asked her seeing that she was smiling )
Brenda: am good ( she replied with a big smile )
Emily: is there anything we're missing out (she asked waiting to get an answer )
Brenda: no girls am just happy, he... asked me out on a date (she said happily )
Amelia: who ( I asked smiling )
Brenda: Austin (she said )
Emily: and you said yes that's good (she said )
Immediately Christy walked in angrily without uttering a word she sat down with her headphone on her ears, meaning she isn't ready to talk .
Emily: she's mad
Amelia: she needs some space we will talk about it later (I said and stood up approaching the door)
on my way out of the class I mistakenly bumped into Charlie
Charlie: are okay (he asked rudely with his hands pointed toward his head )
Amelia: and is that supposed to make you mad man or a coward (I asked him so as to get back at him for being rude )
Charlie: really you suck (he said angrily )
Amelia: yes you too(I said and left )
NEXT DAY AT TERRI'S HIGH SCHOOL
I was heading towards the school library to get some books when I bumped into Charlie again
Amelia: am sorry (I said politely )
Charlie: why trying so hard to be nice (he said )
Amelia : you sounded rude so I had to say what I said and besides that's in the past (I said defending myself )
Charlie: okay my name is Charlie
Amelia: nice am amelia (I replied )
Charlie : sorry about yesterday we're friends right (he said nicely stretching )
Amelia : uh we're cool

Emily : lia what's up I've been looking for you everywhere (she said worried )
Amelia: I was at the library (I replied stretching my arms to hug her )
Emily: library? okay (she said )
Amelia: let's head to music class it's time (I said holding her arm )
Emily : okay
we got to the music class we early so we sat down while other were busy talking out loud we just sat down quietly waiting for Mr Darlington, the door opened we all turned to look thinking it was Mr Darlington but it wasn't it was Charlie , he walked in and stood in front of all the students clearing his throat
Charlie: hey y'all , on behalf of mr Darlington I would be to listen to your presentations , he is out of school for his personal reasons so he said we should make presentations since we have all been rehearsing the past days (he said and sat down quietly ready to listen to the presentations )
