The door creaked open, and a slender woman in a pale blue tunic stepped inside. Her long black braid swung over one shoulder, her bright amber eyes scanning me with practiced focus.
"Your Majesty," she said with a warm smile, bowing slightly at the waist. "I'm Healer Tamsin. Elder MoonChild mentioned you were due for a check-up."
I gave her a tight smile, the nerves already crawling back into my stomach. "Apparently my grandmother outranks me."
Tamsin chuckled. "Grandmothers tend to do that."
She motioned for me to follow her into one of the smaller private exam rooms. The light here was gentle, warm, filtered through cream-coloured curtains. A clean cot waited in the centre, along with a small wooden desk lined with jars, herbs, and instruments.
She gestured for me to sit. "Tell me how you've been feeling."
I exhaled. "A bit… off. Unbalanced, I guess. Tired. Anxious."
