Chapter 33 - 33. Eat Grass, Get Pretty

The process took nearly an hour...

After an hour of bathing in the purest vitality, even Salas's bone age began to reverse.

As the green life cocoon was absorbed into Salas's body and fully dissipated, the new Salas's appearance was revealed.

Long white hair with a tint of gold reached down to his feet, each strand gleaming like woven light. Golden eyes shone with divine elegance—calm and unfathomable. High cheekbones, a straight nose, and thin, naturally pale lips formed a face sculpted by the heavens. Handsome beyond compare, his very presence radiated silent majesty—like royalty born from the stars.

"Oh... Super handsome... But why do I still feel like I look like someone in their thirties? Will I never be able to go back to my real age?" Looking at himself through spiritual power, Salas muttered with a hint of worry, though his joy couldn't be hidden.

As someone who went through the process, he understood how his body had been altered by the essence of the Blue Silver Emperor.

The best gift it gave him was making him younger in the truest sense. That high level of life energy directly reversed his bone age. From 82, it became that of someone around 50—making him 30 years younger, biologically speaking.

But that was the limit. After reaching that point, the essence began altering his cells and bone structure, resulting in his current appearance.

However, Salas could feel it clearly... His special bloodline, which had transformed into the Clear Sky Hammer bloodline when he devoured that Martial Soul, hadn't changed due to the Blue Silver Emperor. He still had only that one bloodline... But he could feel that his affinity with life energy had increased tremendously.

"Life Affinity Physique... in its initial stage?" Salas wondered. He knew of this physique from reading Douluo Dalu 4, but its contents were something he hadn't paid much attention to before. So now, he only knew a little about it.

So, although he could feel an increased affinity with life energy and a fundamental shift in his body, it didn't come close to the level of Tang Xuanyu in the canon—a god-level life energy...

"From what I know... This Life Affinity Physique is currently of no use to me. And to complete this physique, the resources needed are immeasurable. Even draining a planet's life energy wouldn't be enough—unless it's a high-level planet."

Salas mused. But since he couldn't do much with this affinity at the moment, and it wouldn't be all that useful once he became a god and gained eternal life, he put the thought aside and focused on the other changes within him.

"Other than my bone structure magically changing and me becoming handsome, there don't seem to be any other big changes, like a breakthrough..." Salas muttered.

Although he didn't seem younger in outward appearance... his once-average face had become quite handsome.

Unlike Tang San, who inherited the "blue" from the Blue Silver Emperor, Salas inherited "gold" from her... which now reflected in the golden tint of his hair. Salas was quite satisfied.

Even the dissatisfaction of not looking a bit younger faded away... Anyway, his current look was already youthful enough. With baby-like skin and a handsome face, it suited him just fine.

"Hmm... Now that I think about it, I'll probably be in my forties when I become a god anyway. It's not bad to look like I'm in my thirties..." Salas spoke slowly, his thin lips curving into a charming smile.

Then he soon fell into a series of contemplations.

After a while, a thought struck him...

"So eating the Blue Silver Emperor mainly brought me beauty? So the Blue Silver Emperor is a beauty herb, huh?" Salas couldn't help but laugh at the thought. In the end, the Blue Silver Emperor didn't seem to be all that effective in improving strength.

Of course, the Life Affinity Physique was another matter—but even that didn't boost Salas's strength directly.

"I should think of a good name too... Since my appearance has changed, I obviously need a new name," Salas thought, his golden eyes gleaming beautifully.

In a sense, he was no longer the old Salas... Whether Martial Soul, strength, or appearance—he had shed everything that once belonged to the original Salas.

Only the memories remained—but those couldn't be helped. And they didn't bother him much either. They couldn't influence his personality to a significant degree. They were like watching a movie—delivering knowledge but not stirring his emotions.

"This world is mostly Chinese-oriented... So which Chinese protagonist name should I choose?" Salas thought deeply, a stream of protagonist names flashing through his mind. But in the end, his heart couldn't decide right away.

He wanted a good protagonist name—one that was majestic and charming, and carried the sound of a righteous hero. He wasn't going to rush this.

As for choosing a villain's name? Haha. Although it would be cool, Salas wasn't foolish enough to do that...

A name is something everyone is going to remember and recite, so it had to be filled with righteous spirit and benevolence...

"Just like my heart. Haha."

Laughing wickedly, Salas soon put aside the thought and took out the Blue Silver Emperor's soul bone.

Sitting cross-legged again, he began absorbing it.

Before long, the right leg bone—radiating vitality—reached Salas's leg and merged with it.

Having prior experience in absorbing soul bones, the process went smoothly.

Opening his eyes again, Salas let out a sigh of relief...

"Now that I've got this godly healing skill too, I don't have much to fear anymore... After settling my disciple matters, I should head to Slaughter City," Salas silently reviewed his plans.

He had already mastered one of the three techniques belonging to the Clear Sky Sect: Disorder Splitting Hammer.

It was quite easy for Salas to master with his current high spiritual level—it didn't even take him a few hours after breaking through to the Spiritual Domain Realm.

But unlike that simple technique, the other two—Clear Sky Absolutes and Great Sumer Hammer—required guidance...

Theoretically, since Tang Chen was able to create the skill by himself, Salas—having the same Martial Soul—could also do so with his Spiritual Domain-level power... But Salas knew there was something called talent, and when it came to this matter, he lacked it.

Tang Chen was a genius, able to create the Clear Sky Nine Absolutes. But Salas was half-assed. Even if he tried, the skills he created might differ greatly from the originals.

Of course, nothing would be a waste.

Summoning his Martial Soul, a black five-foot-long hammer appeared in Salas's right hand.

Along with it, a black and two bright crimson soul rings appeared, covering a radius of several meters around Salas's feet.

Looking at the dazzling soul rings and the black hammer—etched with many golden patterns—Salas fell into thought again.

"I don't give much importance to the Clear Sky Nine Absolutes... But the Great Sumer Hammer skill must be acquired at all costs..."

With his knowledge of physics, having read the novel and watched Tang San demonstrate it, Salas had mastered the simple Disorder Splitting Hammer. But that divine skill required someone to teach him—it was inevitable, and Salas understood that.

With plans swirling in his mind, Salas activated his first soul skill and disappeared from the spot.

I'm uploading this chapter earlier than planned. I originally intended to release it along with the others on Sunday, but I need your help with something important—choosing a new name for Salas.

I don't have many conditions: the name should sound righteous, benevolent, and fitting for a protagonist.

After some careful thought, I've come up with two options—Boqing and Boxuan—but I'm not sure if they truly feel like protagonist names. So please help me choose a good one. His surname will most likely be "Tang," so I just need a given name. Thank you!

The remaining four chapters will be uploaded on Sunday.
