The paramedics soon arrives along with the national defense force to assess the situation. Giro and Hana were both taken into a hospital in Tokyo where Giro is treated and Hana is prepared for her funeral. Giro soon goes into a coma for 3 months and Hana is then cremated and buried in that 3 months that Giro was in a coma. After Giro wakes up, he instantly goes to the place where Hana is buried.
"H-hana... Why did you leave me? You were supposed to me my rock, my best friend and my blood tie, so why leave me?""
Giro cried for 3 whole hours on Hana's grave until he calmed down a bit.
"Hey dummy, why die on me? I thought we were going to the capital together?"
As Giro is crying, a notification pops

Giro soon celebrates and the system gives him the exact location of the monster
"North west of the forest then turn right"
10 minutes pass and Giro arrives at the designated location where he saw a monster that has very sharp claws and a dark aura
"So that is the monster that the system is talking about, time to use my magic now! ZERO!"
He soon charged at the monster and the monster managed to dodge his attack. He changed again with enhanced agility and he managed to land a hit on the monster but he got slashed on the back in the process.
"AHH! DIE YOU MONSTER!"
Giro soon runs out of mana and his ZERO spell dispels and he is left vulnerable. He is soon beaten by the monster but he remembers that he wanted to survive for Hana.
"Guh! I-I can't do this... It's so strong... Live. Live. Live. LIVE GIRO!"
He soon picked up a piece of rock to kill the monster but his attacks we're futile against the monster because he doesn't have any spell active
"Hana, lend me your strength..."
As the words left his mouth his mana begins to overflow and he reactivates ZERO to battle the monster and he soon lands the finishing blow to the monster
"AHHH! DIE!"
The monster is soon defeated and Giro passes out from exhaustion. After and hour he wakes up to find a notification pop up
--CONGRATULATIONS, YOU SUCCESSFULLY DEFEATED THE LEVEL 7 DEMON WOLF WHICH LEVELED YOU UP 3 LEVELS. FROM THAT YOU FINALLY UNLOCKED THE FOLLOWING SPELLS ONE, TWO AND X--
"All of that for 3 spells? What does this spells do?"
--THE SPELL ONE REPRESENTS THE BEGINNING WHICH CAN CREATE ANYTHING FROM MANA. THE SPELL TWO REPRESENTS LIFE AND CAN GIVE LIFE TO OTHERS. THE SPELL X REPRESENTS SUBSTITUTION WHICH MAKES YOU SUBSTITUTE YOURSELF FROM AND OBJECT BEING VIEWED--
"Oh, so I can use substitution, life and creation magic? Wow, math is so overpowered"
After the grueling day, Giro finally goes to the evac center which he finds his parents waiting for him
"And where exactly did you go? And you stink, Giro, go take a bath!"
Giro's mom said to him. His dad on the other hand is cooking dinner for them in the provided shelter.
