Here, the engagement can only be broken if the man dies, so unless Akira dies, Lala will remain engaged to Akira. The engagement could also be broken if Lala's mother rejects Akira. Why? They are customs of other races, trying to understand them is complicated, the best thing to do is to accept them as they are and that's it.

If by any chance His Majesty accepted that human as his heir, the nobles who wanted to marry Lala, would want to break the engagement of both without hesitation and for this they would resort to any method and it is not a metaphor, they will literally employ all sorts of methods to try to kill Akira.
"Then let them come for me. I will crush them like flies" – I said confidently.
As long as I'm careful and as long as I have the Omnitrix with me, there's no enemy in this universe that can defeat me. Of course, I must not be overconfident or else I would die immediately, but with careful, I can kill anyone who wants to kill me. Also, if those nobles become too annoying... I'll kill them one by one when I can transform into an alien that can travel between planets in seconds. In the original series there was no one like that... maybe Alien X could do it, but it was never mentioned or shown to possess that ability. Still, among the more than 2 million life forms available only to me, I'm sure there will be one with the ability to travel between planets in seconds or teleport, I'm sure of it.

"Just leave them lying around" – Lala said without giving importance to the matter.

"Now that everything is solved... How about we go back home?" – I asked.
"This... Could I stay and live with you?" – Lala asked.

"Ok, let's go!" – Lala said with a smile.
"Wait a minute. I must do something first" – I said.

Then, I touched the Omnitrix icon on my arm and thought about becoming human again and that's exactly what happened.
"Wow, you really became human again! How did you do it? How did you manage to transform into that kind of monster?" – Lala asked excitedly.
She had never seen anything like it in her entire life. Even the smartest person in the entire galaxy, Tearju, would be unable to invent such a device, making it impossible for humans to have developed such technology.
"I'll explain it to you at home. Let's go" – I said.
"Okay, but I want to know everything!" – she nodded.
A device that allows you to transform into a monster at will? As an inventor, she wanted to know all the details!

After returning home I wanted to prepare some dinner for both of us, but unfortunately it didn't take long for me to realize something very important, the roof of my bathroom was broken and I didn't know how to fix it and I didn't have the materials for it. And I couldn't leave it like that either or the thieves could easily enter. Also, because of the time it was, no one would attend to me and come fix it, so I was in trouble.
"How should I fix such a hole...?" – I asked myself as I saw the huge hole in my roof.
"If that's the problem don't worry!" – Lala said.
Then, she took out a kind of smartphone and after pressing the screen a few times, a kind of gun materialized in her right hand.
"This the Super Mega Roof-Mender 3000! This invention is capable of fixing any roof in just an instant!" – Lala said with a proud tone.
"How does it work?" – I asked with interest.
"It's simple. You just aim at the broken part of the roof and shoot" - Lala said.
That's exactly what she did and when she pulled the trigger, some sort of pink lightning bolt shot out at my broken roof and, like magic, the roof fixed itself.
"Amazing... How did you invent that?" – I asked surprised.
In the manga and anime, Lala is shown to be a great inventor. And while most of her inventions aren't perfected, that doesn't take away from how amazing she is.
"It's something I made up one day because I was bored, unfortunately it is defective" – Lala explained.
"Defective? What do you mean? The roof is perfectly fixed and I don't see any damage" – I asked without understanding.
"That's because your roof is made of wood or concrete. If it had been made of any other material, it would have been useless" – Lala explained.
"On your planet you don't have wooden roofs?" – I asked curiously.
"Our buildings are built with a much stronger and more durable material, that's why I said it's defective" - Lala said.
"I see... In any case, it doesn't matter. Let's go to the kitchen, I'll prepare something for you to eat" – I said.
It's not worth being surprised. The technology of the Devilukians is far ahead of ours so be surprised by this is foolish.
"Perfect! I'm starving!" – Lala said.
