After a long cold night the daybreak brought glimmers of warmth. The golden light softly caressed the land and ignited the birds into a chorus of melodies as the sun rises in the east. And blooms on the horizon, golden petals stretching ever outwards into the rich blue.
The early morning sunlight is soft and diffuse, gives way to the first strong rays of the day, and it brings true warmth after a cold night. In this light, water evaporates in slow waves, waves that eddy in the gentle breeze, flowing upward to white - puffed clouds, ships of white in the blue above.
And as the sun rays streamed through the window of the bungalow, casting a warm glow inside the room. Edward was the first to wake up, seeing it was already morning and she was still sleeping. He decided not to wake her up yet and went outside of the room quietly.
But before going outside, he went to the bathroom first to have a quick shower. After finishing, he quickly get dressed and then he went outside. He inhales the fresh air, feeling refreshed, there's no place like this in the city, but sadly, today is the last day he will stay here with his girlfriend. He strode towards the kitchen and sighed, I will cook a simple breakfast for her.
The caretaker family was still at their living quarters, somewhere near the gate, but there was too many large trees and Maria didn't notice it. He also didn't bring her there so it was only natural that she doesn't know.
Once he is inside the kitchen, he look around and think about what he should cook - something that would please her, but also enough for everyone to eat. There was plenty of fresh fruits inside a large basket on the table.
He washed and cook the rice in the rice cooker. Then he approach the fridge, opened it to see what is inside. It was full without different kinds of food and beverages, all neatly arranged. He took out the chilled fresh milk, the label says " fresh milk ". He closes the fridge and grabs a glass to try the milk himself. It tastes good, and it's not like other processed milk that is really sweet.
He grabbed a few fruits, a large bowl, a cutting board with a sharp knife. First, he washed all the fruits.
He decided to make a fruit salad first, and set out to catch fresh fish from the pond in the back. There was a large fish pond, he didn't show it to her yet, she'd be surprised to see it. He threw some feeds and got a net to scoop a few large fish. He got 3 large fish in one scoop, satisfied, he went back to the kitchen with the fishes.
He then washed the fish and cleaned it. One of the fish, he roasted it in the fire he made. The two others are fried, cut into four equal pieces, eight total, it'll be enough for everyone.
He also took eggs, six of it to boil. Looked at the rice, it was already flashing orange, indicating it's cooked. He turned it off. After everything was cooked, he fix the table. The rice, roasted fish, fried fish, boiled eggs and fruit salad was now on the table.

Meanwhile, when Maria wakes up, she didn't see him besides her. She quickly got up and shower. After getting dressed, she went outside, and walk towards the kitchen where she could smell some delicious food.
She arrives and saw him, he was sweating a bit, used a towel to wipe his forehead. After noticing her, he took her hands and let her sit on the table.
"Why didn't you wake me up, I could help you prepare all this."
"It's okay, I wanted to cook food. Besides you're sleeping peacefully."
The caretaker and his family also came, the woman apologize for not waking up early, looking apologetic to both of them, maybe she thought they both cooked.
"It's fine aunt, let's eat!" He said and puts food for Maria.
"Actually, I didn't even help him, it was all his." Maria said to clear misunderstanding.
"He always does that everytime." The husband said to his wife.
They all sat down and eat breakfast.

"Uncle, today we are going back to the city." He told the caretaker.
"Then have a safe trip, I will take care of this place until you return."
"Thank you uncle, I will go get ready now." He said and got up, walked towards the house to pack up.
Maria also followed him.
The caretaker and his wife look at the young couple and then looked at each other.
"Do you think the madam knows?"
"Probably, but that doesn't concern us."
"I know, I just pity young master."
"Let's not talk about that."
They got back to work.

Edward and Maria are inside the house, packing up the things they brought with them. Checking if everything was good.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked her, holding her hands and look at her lovingly.
"Yes, I've packed everything."
"Let's go," he holds her hand with his left hand while carrying the bag on his right. She was also carrying one. Closing the door behind him and they walk towards the car. They both wave goodbye to the caretaker and his family before going inside the car.
The man opened the gate for him and he drives away from the place.
