Chapter 52 - Chp 52

At this moment, Jon felt it, as if he was trapped deep in a bloody valley.

He became an indomitable Ione warrior, an agile swordsman who rode the wind... With a long sword in hand, he followed the wind and roamed in the bloody storm at the top of the canyon; the wind passed without leaving a trace, and the sword passed without a sound.

He slaughtered the enemy soldiers gracefully one by one; noone could stop him.

Even though the enemy had already occupied the high ground, I shall win.

"Glory shall be ours, For the chocolate." he shouted.

"Choco.. Chocolate?" Jon stuttered.

'What ?' "Where am I ?" Jon muttered confused!

..

...

....

Jon Hart opened his eyes and woke up from this false yet real memory.

At this moment, a strange emotion swirled in his mind...

A kind of happiness that comes from the heart, a happiness that cannot be stopped or changed...

He raised his wand and pointed it at the open space in front of him:

 "Expecto patronum!"

At this moment, his voice was full of confidence, without a trace of hesitation or delay.

A dazzling silver light appeared at the end of his wand.

The whole room seemed to be surrounded by this silver light and filled with a warm atmosphere.

Then, a huge silver shadow shot out from the end of his wand... and then slowly condensed into shape.

Jon felt his legs suddenly go weak; his right hand, which was tightly holding the wand, began to tremble a little bit... Silver light continued to spray out from the end of the wand, and the image of the patronus became more and more obvious.

Jon clenched his teeth, not letting himself interrupt the spell due to weakness.

Finally, the magic wand stopped emitting silver light, and the silver shadow began to shrink little by little.

It got smaller and smaller... and finally turned into an animal about the same size as Professor McGonagall in cat form.

It looks like a young cat, but its body color has obvious shades of light and dark.

It was small in size, but plump and well-proportioned, with a round head and a short tail... It slowly crawled to Jon's feet, then hugged his calves, stuck out its tongue, and licked them a few times very intimately.

 Why is it acting coquettishly!

"Meow...Meow...Meow…" The guardian Patronus made a strange sound.

Jon had no doubt in figuring out what kind of animal his Patronus was: a small iron-eating beast; or, in other words, a young cat.

"Don't lick me!" Jon commanded with all his might.

The Patronus made an unhappy cry, then reluctantly released the arms that were holding Jon's calves.

At Jon's command, it began to slowly move towards the balcony... Jon wanted to try his control over the patronus.

It's a pity that there are no Dementors or Boggarts here, otherwise I could try the power of this 4X-level Patronus of Fantastic Beasts.

With every step the Guardian took forward, Jon felt something disappear from his body... His calves began to feel weak again, and his arms began to tremble again.

Just controlling the actions of the guardian patronus actually consumes so much energy.

Jon felt like he was losing control of himself... Shivering, he tried to take back the Patronus.

 However, something unexpected happened...

"Bang!" Only a loud noise was heard.

The Patronus exploded, turned back into countless silver lights, and returned to Jon's wand, making him fall on the ground.

"Damn it, the magic is out of control!" Jon struggled to get up from the ground.

This was the first time in his life that his magic power was out of control.

"Why didn't anyone tell me that the Patronus could explode?"

 …

 The situation is now urgent.

The explosion just now was so loud that anyone except the deaf could hear it.

Sure enough, there were chaotic footsteps outside the door; the hotel waiters and the guests in the next room were all rushing over here.

 What to do?

If it was somewhere else, perhaps he could find an excuse, pay some money, and get away with it; but this place was less than 100 yards away from the Leaky Cauldron, and the wizards in the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley could obviously hear the explosion just now.

What if some nosy wizard or Ministry of Magic staff happened to come over and take a look... wouldn't I be caught on the spot?

An underage wizard using magic, and using magic in front of Muggles... these two points are enough to send oneself to Azkaban!

"Mr. Urian, open the door!" The voice of the waitress came from outside the door.

"Why is there no response? Could he be injured? Quickly break the door open!" a middle-aged man shouted.

Jon once again realized something terrible... He had always appeared in this hotel as "Anduin Wrynn"; but now, he was in his original appearance and had not transformed.

Take the Polyjuice Potion quickly? It's too late. The Polyjuice Potion takes about a minute to transform, and the wizard is extremely vulnerable during this period. If those people outside break down the door during this period and the transformation process is discovered by them, it will be even more disastrous.

The only good news... I had just stuffed all my belongings into that large-capacity backpack in preparation for the waiter to tidy up the room.

There was only one way left... Jon put on his backpack, took his wand, and ran towards the the balcony.

But there was a small problem. My room was on the 14th floor, and in front of the balcony was just a small four-story building.

 Ten levels apart...

Jon took a deep breath, then leapt.

As he flew through the air, he thought one last time about what Professor Flitwick had said in class:

"The wand needs a wave, a shake..."

He pointed to the ground and shouted softly.

 "Wingardium Leviosa!"

...

...

...

Using up almost the last bit of his strength, Jon Hart cast the "Floating Spell".

He landed lightly on the roof of the fourth floor.

But deep down in his heart, there wasn't even a trace of excitement or joy.

After losing control of his magic power, his body was already extremely weak; he had just used the levitation spell ...

Now, my whole body seems like it will fall apart at any time.

If he looked in the mirror now, he would definitely find that his face was paler than that of a vampire.

The sun in the sky was gradually setting and night was about to fall... Jon staggered along the stairs and climbed out of the building.

It seemed as if he would faint at any moment, and he was only supported by his own willpower.

...

...

I can't fall!

The nighttime security in London is not good. A twelve-year-old boy fainted on the street... Even in summer, we cannot rule out the possibility that something terrible will happen overnight.

And if a staff member of the Ministry of Magic found a fainted little wizard in front of a building where a magical accident had just occurred... Then he would get investigated, with the usage of the Flashback Charm to check his wand; he would be in deep trouble.

No matter what, I have to use up my last bit of energy to get to a safe place.

Jon took out another bottle of "Brave Potion" and poured it into his mouth.

Miraculously recovering some strength, Jon regained his spirits.

Then he headed towards the Leaky Cauldron.

This was the closest safe place he could think of.

 …

"Jon?" Hannah Abbott was sitting at the bar of the Leaky Cauldron, doing her homework.

When she saw the new customer in the bar, she shouted in surprise: "Why do you look so pale?"

"I came to London from Southampton by bus..." Jon tried his best to sound normal: "I feel a little carsick... Hannah, do you have any vacant rooms here?"

"I think so!" Hannah whispered, "I'll go ask my grandfather!"

A minute later, Old Tom Abbott returned to the bar: "Sorry, Mr. Hart... I was in the kitchen just now..."

"I want an empty room to rest for a while..." Jon lowered his head and said, "I felt carsick on the way to London, and now I'm very tired..."

"Okay!" Old Tom waved his wand, and a quill pen began to automatically write something on the account book: "Hannah, take your friend to room number 12 upstairs!"

Using the last bit of his strength, he followed Hannah upstairs to the Leaky Cauldron.

After entering the room, Hannah wanted to chat with him for a few more words.

But she found that this Hufflepuff student, who was one year younger than her, had fallen asleep on the bed, snoring.

 …

The next morning, Jon felt aching pain all over his body.

His whole body was so limp that it was difficult for him to hold a wand.

The backlash caused by the loss of control of magic power and the side effects of taking the brave potion twice in a row; I just hope that this backlash will not last too long.

The accident yesterday was truly a nightmare.

He walked down the stairs with a weak look on his face and ran into Hannah who was cleaning the house.

"Jon, what happened to you?" Hannah asked in confusion, "Why are you so sick?"

" I've caught a cold recently..." Jon said vaguely.

Hannah also put down the broom in her hand, washed her hands, and sat with him.

"You can try Mrs. Scarlett's recovery potion!" Hannah told. "It's very good for treating colds and other weak diseases. I still have half a bottle. I'll give it to you later!"

 "Oh...thank you so much!"

After few minutes, Hannah Abbott said seriously, "Jon, you can never imagine what happened last night!"

"hmm? What happened?" Jon quickly pretended to be curious.

Hannah explained with satisfaction: "Yesterday, a thief named Anduin Wrynn tried to attack Muggles in a Muggle inn not far from us?"

"Anduin...thief?" Jon almost spit out the bread in his mouth.

"Yes!" Hannah nodded. "Mrs. Julia Spurr, the owner of Spurr Potion Shop, said that the thief named Anduin Wrynn stole a full 400 Galleons from her!"

"Four hundred Galleons were stolen..." Jon repeated weakly.

"Yes, poor Mrs. Spohr was kept in the dark at the time..." Hannah said mysteriously, "Until yesterday, the thief Anduin used a powerful black magic to try to attack the Muggles in that Muggle hotel..."

"Powerful dark magic?" Jon felt that the news was becoming more and more outrageous.

"Yes, it almost blew up a whole room... Fortunately, no one was inside at the time!" Hannah said in horror: "Jon, you should not have been here at the time and did not hear it. The horrible explosion scared me so much that I forgot to write the paper about burning witches in the Middle Ages for Vacation homework."

"Sorry...no, Hannah, what next?" Jon quickly changed the subject.

"That damn thief Anduin even came to our place for breakfast several times!" Hannah said angrily, "I thought he was quite handsome at the time, but I didn't expect he was actually a thief and a dark wizard!"

"What, Jon, you just asked... then what happened?" Hannah vented her anger before answering Jon's question: "Of course he ran away! My grandfather said that there must be something complicated behind this..."

"How could an American dark wizard suddenly leave the country and come to London to create such chaos? I'm afraid the American Ministry of Magic is behind this. Those damn Americans have always disliked us."

 "Not really..." Jon muttered.

"Of course... I heard that the Department of International Magical Cooperation has sent people to Washington to protest!"

 Jon looked around dazedly.

"What about the reaction of the American Ministry of Magic?" he asked weakly.

"Humph... Of course they refused to admit it and claimed that this was a slander against them. How shameless!"

"Yeah, how shameless!" Jon nodded woodenly.

There are so many thoughts in my mind right now...

This "accident" of mine will not cause disputes between the British and American Ministries of Magic, right?

Wouldn't that mean he would have to apologize to the people of the whole country?

...

...

Taking advantage of the opportunity to go to the toilet, he secretly poured all the hair of the American man and the polyjuice decoction of him into the komode.

After something like this has happened, this identity is definitely unusable!
