Mycon stared at her with wide eyes. The Alpha had warned him that Anna would be looking for Sarah, but he couldn't imagine that...
"You'd better let me take it. You won't like going there."
"That's the second person who's told me that. But I'm going anyway. I'm getting more and more curious."
"If that's what you want, follow me. But I'm not going in with you. Get ready to see explicit sex. She always has a penis inside her and... Are you able to protect yourself from a surprise attack from her?"
"She wouldn't dare stand up to me."
"She dared to kill her best friend, Anna. Don't underestimate the witch."
"She killed because she enjoyed my parents' trust. I don't trust her."
Mycon stared at her, but said nothing, and walked on, expecting Anna to follow him, as indeed she did.
Sarah was in the furthest of the rooms, and there was a rotten smell in the air. Before she even got there, Mycon handed Anna a clean handkerchief to put over her nose and stopped at the door. He fumbled in his pocket for a pocketknife and handed it to Anna.
"If she tries anything, pierce her eyes." He said and walked away.
Anna opened the door, and the filth that reigned there was worse than a rubbish dump. She didn't doubt that there was some dead animal in there, amidst all the mess. Mosquitoes were landing on the bread she was carrying on her tray, and Sarah was staring at her with a smile on her lips, while a boy was fucking her on all fours. He stopped as soon as Anna entered and left without saying anything. Sarah lit a cigarette as she put on her clothes and sat down on the bed, looking at Anna with a debauched smile.
"It didn't take the boss long to make you my maid and have you bring my coffee personally? Maybe you'll come and share this room with me."
Anna approached and placed the tray on her bed. Sarah took the bread and began to eat it, while puffing on her cigarette.
"So this is what a snake's nest looks like?" Anna asked wryly and with a satisfied smile, but Sarah couldn't see, as she had her scarf covering her mouth and nose.
"Before, it was someone who took orders from me, who took care of cleaning the house... I'm not good at that... I wasn't born for it. You, on the other hand, were a good maid. It's a good thing I let you live. Your father enslaved you as his maid and then sold you for a few bucks. You were born to be the Lens men's bitch, Anna. It won't be long before they discover that all it takes for Ryan to return to normal is for him to lie down with a mist. And when they find out... Well... I think they're tired of burying the pieces of the young women that Ryan allows to remain."
"I think you're going to change your mind very soon."
"Did you miss it? Adam's penis? Maxwell's isn't as satisfying as the boss's?" She
asked and drank the whole cup of coffee in one go.
"Do you want to tell me everything you know about my mother, and avoid everything that's about to happen?"
"We'll meet in hell, Anna. I won't take away from you the chance to commit the sin of killing a soul."
"I have the right to avenge my mother. There's no sin in that, since human justice has failed. I'm being generous, I'm giving you the chance not to suffer what I have in mind."
"Even if I told you, would you still kill me?"
"No. I'll let you live."
Sarah seemed surprised. It wasn't what she had expected to hear, and she thought about it for a while.
"You can't know what I know."
But I will, anyway. You have two paths to choose from, Sarah."
"Anna... It's a secret that would kill me, perhaps even more violently, than anything you could think of doing, if I revealed it."
"You've made your choice, Sarah." Anna said, and left the room, breathing a sigh of relief as she walked out of the room. She walked back through the kitchen, and could hear excited voices coming from the dining room.
She entered the dining room, and Adam was chatting animatedly with Ian, while Kate and Caricature were on one side of the table, and on the other were Bonnie and Mycon. She realized that the empty seat next to Adam should be for her, so she headed there, but first she stopped and kissed her son on the forehead in greeting, and said hello to everyone. Only then did she sit down at the table.
"Did you sleep well, Anna?" Adam asked with a sardonic smile.
"Too well... It's a pity a night like that won't happen again, isn't it?" She said debauchedly and poured herself a cup of coffee.
"That's a very pragmatic prediction. There could still be more nights like last night... You just have to want to."
"That's why I said it won't happen again. Because I don't want it to."
"Mom, can I play in the pool?" Ian asked, oblivious to their dubious conversation.
"No, now. There will be some children coming later, and with an adult present, you can have fun in the pool."
Ian stared at her, frowning.
"And what am I supposed to do until then?"
"You have your video game."
"No." He said and his eyes became dark, like Adam's when he felt frustrated.
"Anna... If you allow it, he can have target practice. I'll take good care of him." Mycon suggested, and Ian's eyes lit up enthusiastically and turned to his mother.
"Please, Mom!"
"Yes. That's fine." She said nonchalantly, and Ian stood up. He came around the table and took Mycon's hand.
"Son! Let him finish his coffee!" Anna scolded him, and he let go of Mycon's hand regretfully, and looked him in the eye.
"Sorry..."
Mycon stood up and took Ian's hand.
"I'd already finished. Let's go." He said and led the boy away.
Kate and Caricature also left the table, and in the end there were only Bonnie, Adam and Anna, who turned to Bonnie.
"Can you give us a minute alone?"
Bonnie ignored her and stayed where she was. Anna then turned to Adam.
"Can we talk in the office?"
"Sure." Adam said, and stood up, helping her to do the same. And under Bonnie's furious gaze, the two of them headed for the office together.
