Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Nature's Truth and Nature's Monster

Before you start this chapter from now on the cannon events wont happen much I am even thinking of having not sign summoning contract with the toads. let me know what you guys think

The late morning sun filtered through the trees at Training Ground Three, where Iruka stood calmly with his arms crossed, a chakra paper in hand. Naruto stood opposite him, practically vibrating with anticipation.

"Alright," Iruka said, voice firm but encouraging, "before we begin your next stage of training, we're going to determine your chakra affinities."

Naruto blinked. "Like… what elements I have?"

Iruka nodded. "Exactly. This paper reacts to your chakra. Each type of elemental chakra causes a different reaction."

He handed the paper to Naruto. "Go ahead. Channel your chakra into it."

Naruto focused, pressing the slip of chakra paper between his fingers. The moment his chakra flowed into it, the paper split neatly in half, then one side dampened and curled.

Iruka's brow lifted. "Wind and Water. Interesting."

Naruto's eyes sparkled. "So that's good, right?"

"Very," Iruka said. "Wind is rare, and Water has deep versatility. That combination… can be dangerous in the right hands."

But then he paused, looking more thoughtful than usual.

"…But something doesn't add up."

Naruto tilted his head. "Huh?"

Iruka's voice dropped, his curiosity surfacing. "System. Shouldn't Naruto have Wood Release? He's Ashura's reincarnation—like Hashirama was."

[System Response:]

[Incorrect assumption, Host Iruka. While Ashura's descendants had access to all elemental chakra natures, both he and Hashirama favored Earth and Water, fused with immense Yang Release. Hashirama's Wood Release was born of that combination.]

[Your student, however, has something they didn't—Kurama, whose chakra carries pure, dense Yang energy. Combined with Ashura's latent chakra and enhanced Uzumaki vitality, Naruto's Yang affinity now surpasses even theirs.]

[He does not need to copy their path. His Wind and Water—especially Water, the primary nature of many Uzumaki—are evolving. When combined with Yang, the result will not be Wood Release… but a lethal, original form of Ice Release.]

Iruka blinked. "Ice?"

[System Continued:]

[Not like the Yuki Clan's bloodline. This is no Kekkei Genkai. This Ice Release is raw, deadly, unrefined—born from nature itself, not genetics.]

[Wind and Water create storms—typhoons, tsunamis, destruction. But with enough Yang energy to bind and shape them, he freezes the storm mid-rage. That's what your student can do. It will be unique. It will be monstrous.]

[Naruto is not meant to follow the path of Wood. He is meant to carve his own path through ice, wind, and chaos.]

Iruka let out a slow, low whistle. "...That's terrifying."

Naruto, wide-eyed, grinned. "Cool."

Iruka gave a slight chuckle. "More than cool, kid. Let's just hope the world's ready."

Then, still thinking, Iruka reached into his pouch and pulled out a chakra paper of his own.

"Let me check something."

He channeled his chakra into the slip—and immediately, the paper responded violently. One part soaked and disintegrated from water saturation, another crackled with blue lightning sparks, and a final edge smoldered faintly, curling from a low burn.

"…Water, Lightning, and Fire," he muttered. "I always had Water. Fire was something I developed with training. But Lightning…"

He stared at the sparks, surprised.

Naruto's mouth dropped open. "Whoa! Sensei, you didn't know you had Lightning?"

"I didn't," Iruka said slowly. "That wasn't part of me before."

He looked inward, calling on the system once more. "System. Why do I have Lightning now?"

[System Response:]

[Host Iruka, this occurs because of the unique nature of your soul. While the original Iruka had Water Release as his primary and Fire Release as his secondary, your new soul and personality now carry an affinity for Lightning. The elements have adapted accordingly.]

[The merging of your souls has also enhanced your Yin and Yang energy, allowing you to combine elements in ways like a storm—powerful, but it will not surpass Naruto's Ice Release, which is inherently more destructive.]

Iruka rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Wait, are you telling me that my ability to combine elements into something like a storm is weaker than Naruto's Ice?"

[Not exactly. Both of you hold immense power, but Naruto's Ice Release, with his enhanced Yang energy, will be far more lethal in terms of raw destruction. Your storm combination is highly effective, but operates on a different scale.]

Iruka raised an eyebrow, mulling over the information. "And you mentioned Haki? Does that mean—"

[Yes. The ancient civilizations knew of Haki before chakra. It's an incredibly difficult power to master, and only a select few could ever wield it.]

Iruka's eyes widened. "So, you're saying Naruto can learn Haki?"

[Yes, currently, both Naruto and Kurenai can use Haki, thanks to the pill. However, they won't reach your level of proficiency. Their bodies are too attuned to chakra. Naruto, in particular, has his body fused with nature's chakra, making it almost impossible for him to naturally use Haki. But with the pill and his willpower, he can access it.]

Iruka nodded thoughtfully. "So they can use it, but they won't be on my level?"

[Precisely.]

Iruka gave a wry smile. "Well, looks like I've got a bit of an edge. This is going to be one hell of a ride."

[System Note:][ You are now well beyond your original limit. Your body is adapting daily—and your swordsmanship and Haki potential are already registering at the Jonin elite threshold.]

Iruka nodded once, then turned to Naruto. "Looks like we've both changed more than we realized."

Naruto grinned wide. "Yeah, but your lightning is still cooler than mine!"

Iruka flicked him lightly on the forehead. "You've got your own storm to master. Come on—we've got training to do."

Scene Transition: Training Begins

Over the next hour, Iruka introduced Naruto to memory transfer through clones, explaining how each shadow clone could take on a different task and send all their experiences back the moment they dispelled.

"Clone Training 101," Iruka said with a smirk. "One of the greatest Uzumaki hacks in existence."

Naruto summoned 50 clones, his form wobbling a bit at the effort but improving quickly. 25 clone started chakra control on a tree, others practiced sword stance. Iruka corrected the from.

But before the training could fully escalate, a masked ANBU appeared silently on a high branch.

"Iruka-san," he said. "The Hokage has requested your presence. Immediately."

Iruka's gaze sharpened. "Understood."

He turned to Naruto, giving him a short nod. "Keep training. We're going to make you terrifying too."

And with that, Iruka vanished in a flicker, lightning still crackling faintly around his fingers.
