He dropped Leo on the flat surface as he stood before the overlord of the castle, Vultra Ludenworth. Vultra said, "Who is this boy?" The being replied, "My lord, he is the one that you have been looking for. He is the boy that seems to have all the powers of the gods."
"Hmmm. Interesting. So you are the one the gods chose to protect their sorry ass, huh? Well, since you don't know the connection between the gods and me and their true motive, why don't we ask the gods?" Vultra now displayed Leo's location to the gods. As Zeus's imagery appeared, he said, "Vultra, leave Leo alone. The feud you have is between you and the gods; don't drag him into this."
Vultra replied, getting angry, "So you do have mercy, but you guys didn't show it when you all destroyed my home and killed my parents, now did you? You guys beheaded my dad and kidnapped my original parents. My second parents? You guys still killed them. And now you want me to just let it slide? Who the fuck do you gods think you are? Nobody harms my family, and I would just let them go. In fact, I don't know why the fuck I'm talking to your imagery now. Get your ass down here; I'll come get you myself. Capiche?"
Zeus sighed before his imagery faded. In the gods' realm, Zeus told the other gods. They suggested they flee, but Zeus cut them short. He told them, "The boy is held hostage by Vultra, so we can't just leave him be. It would credit Vultra's reasoning even more, and if we're not careful, we could lose Leo to him. Now, you guys don't want that, do you? And the final point: if Leo joined Vultra, it would spell the end for us."
A god chipped in, "Well, we could just revoke the powers we granted to him." "Collateral done," Zeus answered. "Then how do you intend to deal with Vultra?" The god continued, "Simple. Same thing we did before: just seal his ass back to another dimension. Job well done."
Zeus sighed in disappointment before he replied, "If not because you are an old generation god, I would have sealed your ass in Tartarus." The god was quiet. Zeus said, "Well, any suggestions apart from that creepy god's annoying suggestion?"
Buddha calmly answered, "Let's first put the old generation gods in charge before we hear Vultra out. I think it is time we tell him the truth, and the one who's pulling the strings isn't really us. He needs to know, and his mom—anyone who holds her hostage should bring her. Now, as for her dad, Hades, bring his soul, and his other parents bring theirs. Also, at least it is supposed to calm him down."
One of the gods said, "What about Fenrir?" Buddha replied, "Well, since Fenrir was killed in the incident that also resulted in the death of his parents, I don't know what to do on that matter. Since a god is being born every million years, we could put up a proposal to allow him to be born. For now, what do you gods think?" The gods agreed in unison.
"Zeus, any more ideas, or do we go with that one from Buddha?" The gods were silent. Meanwhile, the scene shifts to Vultra and Leo. Vultra was telling Leo about all the feuds between him and the gods. Leo asked him, "Vultra, do you think the gods are in full control, or are they all manipulated by a higher god?"
Vultra thought for a while and answered, "Well, Leo, I can't say for sure, but I recall when I was battling the fusion of the gods, it said something that we were pawns that are manipulated. So I can't decide for now."
Leo said, "If so, then Vultra, don't be angry with me. I think you should try to forgive the gods or hear their reasons at least. Then please release Ares; I'm sure he has been taught enough of a lesson. I wouldn't like you to be sealed again like last time, my bro."
Vultra was shocked by the statement; he shed tears. Leo said, "What's wrong?" Vultra answered, "Nothing." Vultra was recalling all the past memories of Fenrir, and he was reminded of how he couldn't protect Fenrir when he was killed by those gods. Vultra's heart was fueled again with rage. He said to Leo, "I think I've given the gods enough time. Soldiers, prepare yourselves; today we march to the gods' realm."
Leo was trying to stop Vultra, but his mind was fixated, and he didn't listen to Leo's pleas. He broke free from the chains that bound him. He was just about to go to the gods' realm when all the old generation gods came. They all stood before Vultra the same way as Vultra's army stood before them.
The scene shifts back to the gods' meeting. The gods all agreed to it as the preparations were being made. The gods appointed the most wise young generation gods to fill their positions while they were gone. Hades also sent his lackeys to the fields to bring Vultra's dad and his other parents. The lackeys told the parents that they were being summoned by the god of the underworld. They went, having questions to ask.
As they met Hades, he pleaded with them to come with him. The parents all said, "Why?" and they were confused about why they were being summoned. They all asked questions like, "Who are they?" Hades calmed them down before he started to talk. He said, "One of you guys knows Vultra as you are his parent, while the other knows him as Kael. The truth is he is the same person; his original identity is Vultra. He was sent to another body by the system. When we fought him, we originally thought he had died, but we were alerted when we sensed the battle between him and Maui. And please don't be angry with us. Well, let me be straightforward with you guys since you can handle it: the thing is, we, the gods, actually killed you all."
They were shocked; they were still processing it. Hades said, "We have a rational explanation for it. Firstly, we killed Vultra's original parents because we wanted to instill fear into him and also because we were planning to wipe out the beast kind so that the humans can rule, and we can rule them with our powers. But the beasts posed a threat to our motives; that is actually why we did it. As for his second parents, we killed you for the process of buying time so that while Vultra is in a breakdown, we could have enough time to perform the seal to seal him. Because if he fully recovers his powers, he would be a threat to us, as he nearly exterminated us once. So we wanted him to do it again."
His parents were all shocked as Vultra's dad furiously stated, as he couldn't control his rage, he transformed into his werewolf form. He attacked Hades and said to him with bloodlust in his eyes, "So you mean my wife and Vultra and I were toyed with just for your selfish and useless reasons? Why do you gods not consider the feelings of beings before you take any decision? You think that Vultra could just forgive you just because you brought us his parents so that you could use us as a bargaining chip? Isn't that your motive now? Isn't it because you all know that Vultra's emotions could be toyed with just because he's a mortal? Who do you gods think you are? If I were Vultra, I would have already killed you all by now."
Hades got tired of his yapping, so he brought him down. He said to him, "Well, for your information, we aren't the ones who call the shots, okay? Do you think we gods would interfere in a lowly mortal life just because he is a little stronger? No, we wouldn't. We don't interfere in any mortal life unless we need to. Apart from that, unless our boss told us to do so. Just as you guys are pawns in our hands, so are pawns in another, and the cycle goes on. It's a small world, kid."
Vultra's dad calmed down because he didn't have any reason to rage anymore. He said, "Where is my wife?" Hades said, "That is already arranged. In five minutes, your wife will be here." Hades actually thought it moved more smoothly than he expected.
Anyways, it was okay. Five minutes later, Vultra's mom came with another god. When both married couples saw each other, they couldn't control their emotions; they rushed to each other before they hugged passionately for what seemed like an eternity. Hades was jealous because he and his wife were currently not on good terms. The two reunited couples kissed passionately, making Hades more jealous of them until he separated them by force. They both gave Hades a look, indirectly telling him, "You're jealous."
Hades then said, "That settled it; let's go and rendezvous with the gods." Hades gathered them when instantly they teleported. The scene then shifts to the present. Vultra was stranded; he wanted to kill the gods at that instant, but he couldn't do it. He was just weak, especially when his dad brought his mom. Vultra was teary; he told the gods one word: "Let them go."
Zeus answered, "How sure are we that you won't kill us after your parents are brought to you? After all, your parents are the only reason why currently we aren't dead, so give us a guarantee." Vultra sighed. "Fine." He pierced himself to draw a seal on him of a wolf. The seal glowed, signifying it was activated. The gods allowed the parents to go to Vultra's side.
Leo was just watching the drama play out; he was then reminded of the parents he didn't have. He slowly shed tears. Vultra noticed his turmoil and raised his hand to him, signifying for him to join the group family hug. He rushed to join the hug. The gods were just hoping for him to keep his word. Zeus wanted to interrupt to talk business, but Vultra gave him a death stare, so he just waited patiently for them to finish. After some time, Zeus said, "Now let's talk business."
