Chapter 12 - Chapter Twelve-Scared

How could she be that dumb? She should have believed him the moment he showed her the mansion- and the necklace.

The necklace he gave her was the generational necklace of the Woodsman family.

She was doomed. She was finished.

She imagined that he would do worst to her than he was doing to Raymond, and her legs couldn't help but tremble.

Lexis could see how she was shaking, and left the groaning Raymond to hold her in his arms.

Facing George, he ordered, "Do as you're told, and let his side chick face the same consequences as well."

Chloe froze the moment she noticed his cold eyes on her—her brain blank. They would break her fingers? How then would she be working?

"No! Mr Woodsman please! I…I can explain!." She yelled, trying to go after him but it was too late as Lexis carried Sabrina into the car and drove away.

She sat on the ground, devastated.

She didn't even struggle as his men pulled her away.

Meanwhile, Windy tried Sabrina's number but it went straight to voicemail. She was worried sick.

She wanted and needed to first of all know how she was doing and how she had gotten entangled with the man—Lexis Woodsman.

"Dear Lord, Sabrina answer the call!." She tried once more, yet no response.

She decided to finish up her works before trying again.

In the Car….

Sabrina had been so silent That Lexis would glance at her from time to time as he drove.

When she finally knew of his real identity, he could notice that her mood drastically changed.

And not in a good way.

It looked like she was scared of him.

"Sabrina." He called.

"Huh?." She answered, but kept her eyes trained on the road before her eyes.

Shame and fear couldn't let her face him.

He was Lexis Woodsman, a tycoon, a merciless man she had been talking down on like he was a criminal—a thief.

"Look at me." He said, however, Sabrina didn't make a move.

He packed the car by the side of the road, only then did Sabrina face him, her eyes filled with fear.

Would he kill her now and secretly dispose her body? Or break her fingers?

Worst still, rape her and leave her by the roadside?

Her face paled by the unimaginable tortures he would do to her.

She didn't believe him at first because it was all over the news that he, Lexis wasn't back from the overseas yet.

She thought the man she married was a replica of Lexis Woodsman. She didn't even know how he looked.

"You're scared now that you know I'm Lexis?." He asked, with slight amusement. But Sabrina wasn't thrilled at all.

Her mind was a mess. Her head was a mess.

She was done for. She was as good as dead.

"Don't look at me like I'm about to kill you right now." Lexis said, his tone filled with displeasure.

Right. He even considered to kill her.

She shakily breathed out, " How do you wish to punish me?." Her voice was quivering.

"About that…" Lexis had a naughty and nasty look on his onyx eyes, and that made the hairs in her body to rise.

He suddenly leaned against her, held her both hands.

His lips curled into a smile. Sabrina held her breathe.

Staring at the luscious-looking, plump pink lips, Lexis' mind trailed to how delicious they'd taste.

How addicting.

"W-what do you—." He bit her neck softly, causing her to yelp.

His minty scent was attacking her nostrils, and with his warm breathe fanning her neck, she felt…she felt hot.

Breathless.

"I want to kiss you." He said shamelessly, causing Sabrina to widen her eyes.

"But we can't—."

"No buts. Don't forget, the punishment."

She bit her lip at his commanding tone. How shameless could he be?

Saying he wanted to kiss her as punishment?

She glanced at his lips. The thought of kissing him has only crossed her mind once.

She had removed the thought from her head because she thought it was crazy.

Crazy for craving for a man she has known for barely 72 hours.

"We can't kiss like this." She whispered.

"Why not?."

Sabrina tried to get her hands freed, "Well… um… I heard that kisses inside car are bad, plus, I'm a terrible kisser."

"Have you kissed before?."

She kept mute. Of course she has kissed before.

She has kissed Jason, who was her first kiss

too.

Although the kisses they have shared weren't up to six or seven times.

Lexis held her chin up, and she could see his dark pupils clearly, "Let's try kissing in the car, shouldn't we?."

"I don't think that's a good idea."

He gave a cocky smile, "Why not?."

"No—mmm!." The sudden kiss shut Sabrina up completely.

Lexis tried to invade his tongue into her mouth, but she stubbornly denied him entry as she clenched her teeth tightly.

With a tease, he bit on her lower lip, only then did she she react and opened her mouth.

He slide his tongue and entangled it with hers, sucking her lips torturously until she couldn't breathe.

She was lacking air.

She punched his chest softly for him to let go, but Lexis was reluctant to do so.

After what seemed like forever, he finally stopped and Sabrina took in a huge breathe of air, her chest heavily heavily up and down. Her head was unclear—clouded.

Like she had taken five shots of vodka.

"You are indeed a bad kisser, but you taste heavenly." He commented, licking his lips like he had devoured something sweet.

Sabrina face turned a bright shade of red by his comment and action.

She felt some indescribable feelings in her her belly. Some strange feelings.

Lexis side-looked her, "What, has the kiss made you numb?."

"You kissed me without my permission." She folded her arms and looked out of the window.

Lexis smiled as he started the engine, "You obviously enjoyed the kiss, and you did promise to kiss me."

"When?."

"This morning. You were rushing to work."

It clicked in her head. She did remember him saying something, and she had agreed to it without knowing what the deal was.

Damn him.

"You pervert." She rolled her eyes.

"Your pervert," Lexis grinned, "so, what about my own wedding present?."
