Chapter 67 - Chapter 67

BOOM...

The massive storm conjured by the Truth-Seeking Orbs instantly swept across the entire valley!

Under the force of this violent tempest, even elite Cloud ninja like Fucado were tossed about like rootless driftwood. The ordinary Cloud ninjas fared no better—each of them as helpless as ants.

Not just the Cloud shinobi—the countless towering trees in the valley were ripped from the ground, massive rocks flung into the sky, and buildings and outposts shattered into splinters the moment they came into contact with the storm.

CRACKLE...

Everything was reduced to fragments in the storm, crashing against each other with chaotic sounds.

The entire valley was like a painting wiped clean by an eraser named "Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion," leaving only a desolate blank canvas.

"Not enough! It's still not enough!"

Even at this point, Hyuga Kagami had no intention of stopping.

Though the entire valley had almost been leveled, his Tenseigan still detected numerous chakra signatures within, which meant there were still surviving Cloud ninjas.

These survivors couldn't be allowed to escape. If they did, the secret of the Tenseigan would be exposed.

The Cloud Village had a notorious history—they had kidnapped both Kushina and Hinata in the past. To uncover the secrets of other villages, they would stop at nothing.

Still suspended in the air by gravitational force, Shisui was dumbfounded. For several minutes, his expression hadn't changed.

"Could this be Kagami-senpai's true strength!?"

Proud to his core, this was the first time Shisui had witnessed a power that even the Mangekyo Sharingan could not contend with. His pride, in that moment, was utterly shattered.

Hyuga Kagami paid no attention to the changes in Shisui's state of mind. At that moment, he was focused solely on channeling the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion, annihilating every Cloud ninja within his line of sight.

Suddenly, the endless chakra supply was cut off.

Kagami's body felt as if it had been hollowed out in an instant—so abrupt he had no time to brace himself.

He had long suspected that the chakra source was the massive Tenseigan on the moon. Only chakra of the same kind as the Tenseigan could feel so familiar and comforting.

Because of that, he had gone all out with the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.

He knew the descendants of the Otsutsuki clan on the moon would not tolerate someone using the power of the giant Tenseigan so recklessly. This opportunity might come only once.

Miss it, and all he could do was gaze up at the moon in regret.

But the speed with which the descendants of Otsutsuki Hamura reacted exceeded even his expectations. From the moment his Tenseigan resonated with the one on the moon, to when the connection was cut, only a few minutes had passed.

"I can't stop now!"

Kagami quickly realized what he had to do.

Until every last Cloud ninja was wiped out, he couldn't release the Tenseigan Chakra Mode. Even if it meant burning through some of his life force, he had to endure. By his estimate, in less than a minute, the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion would not only level the valley, but scour it clean to the very bedrock.

Not a single rat or insect hiding underground would survive.

But without the support of the moon's giant Tenseigan, and with his own chakra long depleted, Kagami was quickly overwhelmed by exhaustion. The entire world seemed to blur and sway.

"Seven... six... five... four..."

With heavy eyelids that he could barely keep open, he focused his senses on the remaining chakra signatures in the valley.

"Three..."

"Two..."

"Last one!"

As the final chakra signature vanished, and he confirmed there were no more survivors, Kagami could no longer hold on. Blood gushed from his mouth as he and Shisui descended to the ground.

Before he could manually deactivate his Tenseigan Chakra Mode, it dissipated on its own.

At the same time, his Tenseigan—just like Toneri Otsutsuki's had after his battle with Naruto—reverted to a Byakugan, drained of all chakra.

Noticing something was wrong with Kagami, Shisui rushed to support him.

"Senpai, are you alright?"

"Go, we have to go!"

Shisui nodded, hoisted Kagami onto his back, and fled in the direction of the Land of the Moon.

Not long after the two had escaped, squads of Cloud ninja began arriving at the valley from all directions.

But at this point, it was no longer fitting to call it a valley. The land before them was completely flat, as though a giant had plowed it with an enormous iron spade.

"Are we in the right place? Wasn't there supposed to be a valley here?"

"Where are the people? The secret warehouse?!"

"What the hell happened here..."

Each Cloud ninja stood frozen, completely bewildered.

Then, a Cloud jonin stepped forward and roared, "You idiots! What are you staring at?! Start looking for survivors! I want to know what happened here!"

The Cloud ninjas snapped out of it and scattered, searching through the devastated mud for any survivors.

But after scouring the area, all they found were incomplete, mangled corpses—all of them wearing Cloud uniforms.

"What? Not a single enemy corpse?!"

After receiving the report, the Cloud jonin started to panic.

He pointed at the line of damaged corpses laid out before him, and with a trembling voice said, "D-Don't tell me... all of these are our own?!"

On the moon—

After cutting off the chakra supply from the giant Tenseigan, the last three surviving Otsutsuki elders were filled with suspicion.

The eldest elder, his voice raspy and weak, said, "This strange activity from the Tenseigan... I suspect it's related to the one who stole the Gedo Statue."

The second elder, equally aged, was outraged. "He dares try to steal the sacred Tenseigan of the Otsutsuki?!"

The third elder was calmer, saying, "Why don't we use the Tenseigan to observe the Earth? This anomaly was too unusual—something might've happened down there."

The great elder nodded and immediately formed a seal. "Activate!"

The once-dim giant Tenseigan flared to life again. Its brilliance spread like a screen of light, casting a beam down toward Earth.

On Earth—

Still being carried by Shisui, fleeing toward the Land of the Moon, Hyuga Kagami suddenly sensed that familiar chakra pass over him.

However, since his Tenseigan had reverted to a Byakugan due to chakra depletion, the chakra did not linger on him. It simply brushed past, continuing to sweep across the land...
